darkest night 2018

Letter will be finished by end of day 6th August! Sorry, author, life is a misery this month and that Southern Reach section isn't happening (I don't think anyone was offering it though so, uh, hopefully it's not too much of a problem for you!)

Hello friend, I am so excited to see what you will write for me! It is once again niche ladies and even more niche murderforests time, now with a lot of horror and slightly more vampires than I expected when I first started putting together requests. If you want inspiration beyond this, I am also @kimaracretak on tumblr (where I am only intermittently active but may have some thoughts on some of these canons/ships), 8tracks and playmoss (for #aesthetic takes on some of these canons/ships), and ao3, where I have a small but reflective of things I like collection of bookmarks.

The requested tags, I think, serve as prompts on their own in many cases, but as I've by and large chosen canons I love for their worldbuilding and mytharcs as well as their characters and relationships, I've tried to expand on both tag and character/group requests. I didn't necessarily provide something for every possible character/group + tag combination, but hopefully there's enough for you to get general ideas of the kind of stories I like. Feel free to use multiple requested tags beyond what we matched on. Anyway, I am easy to please as long as you stay away from my DNWs (both general and canon-specific), so don't feel like you Have to write any of my specific prompts. Don't read anything into relative lengths of sections, I am equally happy to get something for anything in this letter!

If you are writing shipfic, I like everything from pre-ship feelings navigation to PWP, so for / relationships don't worry about whether they're shippy 'enough'. I don't need a lot of romance for most of these, sex for power, manipulation, or just between friends who want to have fun is also great. Please no unrequested ships unless specifically allowed for, but feel free to combine any compatible ones from my requested ones.

Things what I like;

Mentorship and loyalty dynamics, including ladies' suicidal world-saving or world-breaking devotion to other ladies, also especially #unavailable older women in positions of authority; femslash and female friendship in both the foreground and the background; nature and cities and spacecraft as characters, especially when they would like to eat you because they love you; vampires, magic, witchcraft, rituals; eldritch things, fey things, eerie things, cosmic/eldritch horrors, the Force as one of said horrors that would like to eat you because it loves you, Force users as literal cosmic bodies; feelings about embodiment and iconography; epistoloary fics and IF; second-person pov; politics; flirting, domesticity, sensuality; canon-divergent/what-if AUs; conflicted loyalties, moral ambiguity, hero/villain and villain/villain relationships, darkfic; arranged marriages, marriages of convenience, married by a technicality; relationships negotiated around characters' different vocabularies of trust and care; 'I hate you I love you I would like to wear your skin as a sign of my devotion' types of relationships; porn as character work.

Things what I like, smut edition;

Hair braiding, hair pulling; bathing, washing, bath/shower sex; painplay, bloodplay, edgeplay; mirror sex, identity porn; bondage, D/s dynamics (though not 24/7 bdsm lifestyle setups); jewellery and clothes kink; consent play; praise kink, loyalty kink, competency kink; public and semi-public sex, having to stay quiet; oral sex; biting, marking; first time with each other; sex for manipulation/political gain/conversion to the other political-military side (success optional); inappropriate use of the Force and lightsabers, one person in a threesome directing the other two and getting off watching them..

Things what I do not want;

Unrequested m/m or m/f ships; rape (dubcon is fine unless otherwise specified); permanent death of female characters (Force ghosts count as dead for Star Wars requests); kidfic, breeding, pregnancy, age-regression and time-travel to see kid versions of characters; scat, watersports, emetophilia; food sex and associated kinks like feeding; a/b/o; tropey aus like soulmates or hanahaki disease; eye- and feet-related gore; first-person pov; apocalypse and post-apocalypse fic, zombies; homophobia, transphobia, biphobia, racism, ableism, etc; 'it was all a dream' sort of mindfuckery; age gaps causing angst; bodyswap fic; crackfic; sex involving under-16s.

Agent Carter

General: I love that Whitney and Angie and to some extent Peggy were set up as certain images of Idealised Americana while Dottie at times tended towards being her own Idealised Russia. I love the darkness and potential for noir tropes that were hinted at but never fully explored. I love all of the weird awful things that could be done with zero matter. I love this show the most when it's about bodies and collisions and weird push-pulls of trust and these women's attempts at control. I'm not familiar with much of the wider Marvel universe and prefer you avoid it. IN SPACE AUs welcome.

Alternate Universe - Star Wars Sith: Sith!Dottie, yes please, especially if she's hunting Jedi!Peggy and Angie's the non-Force-sensitive caught in the middle. Or Sith!Whitney with her science experiments slowly turning into a Darth Nihilus-type wound in the Force.

Alternate Universe - Vampire: My faves are vampires, I am happy. Vampire: the Requiem references/AUs welcomed. Bloodplay/blood drinking/blood magic encouraged.

Angry Sex, bloodplay, bondage, breathplay, somnophilia: A noncomprehensive list of favourite things that I would love to show up in any sex you write between any of my requested ships.

Architectural Horror, eldritch locations: Weird zero matter voids! The bottom of the lake in Echo Park! That one metro station in New York that everyone knows is Wrong, Somehow (I know very little about NYC but every metro system has a station like that lbr). Very good for trapped and forced to work together to survive fics!

Character In Denial About Unrequited Love: This is basically Dottie and Whitney both in canon re: how Peggy thinks of them. I'd love something that specifically gets into their heads

Dark Fairy Tale Elements: Probably self-explanatory - I have no preference whether this refers to narration style or plot elements.

Lovestruck villain uses murder to flirt with hero: Yeah, this is basically Dottie and Whitney both in canon again. Played seriously rather than cracky, please.

Mind Games, mind manipulation: Identity mindfuckery! One pretends to be the other! Dottie telling a captive Angie/Whitney/Peggy stories, possibly with the aid of drugs! Unreality play, especially with unreliable narrators, is a lot of fun - I'm okay not knowing exactly what happened and what didn't as long as there isn't a surprise! this was a dream/you're actually in a mental institution reveal.

Dottie Underwood/Angie Martinelli: I love the idea of Dottie capturing Angie and tormenting her to get to Peggy - either a serious 'where is she' sort of interrogation or a more casual 'aw, Peg, did you have a friend, I had no idea.' sort of thing. Corruption stories are always fabulous - I'd love Angie's slow fall into being Dottie's double/assistant/etc, or maybe Angie has a terrible secret of her own that Dottie wasn't expecting (serial killer!Angie? ghost!Angie?)

Dottie Underwood/Peggy Carter: Dottie in all her fractured perfection is one of the most compelling characters on the show for me. I like when she thinks murder is flirting, her obsession with Peggy, her innocently calculated cruelties. Missionfic or fic about her time in Russia would be great. Fic where she captures Angie to get to Peggy is something I can never get enough of. Any sort of teamup with Whitney and glimpse at those gloriously horrible power dynamics would be amazing, their brief time on-screen together had me hoping for way more fic with them than actually ever seemed to happen.

Dottie Underwood/Whitney Frost: I love love love inhuman!Whitney, the slow transformation from so much zero matter exposure. I'm intrigued by the glimpses we got at her views on how she balanced her public and private personas, actress and scientist, and the ways in which manipulation and knowledge were so deeply interwoven with both professions, and would be totally happy with an introspective piece. Fics that take Whitney's job as an actress seriously, especially ones that examine Hollywood culture and Los Angeles as a character, are great - it's such a different sort of acting than Dottie's used to, how does she adapt - how does Whitney help her adapt? I can never read enough of one visiting the other in/breaking her out from jail, the heists and the cons and the disguises, the things they might get up to together when the world thinks them dead. Or canon divergence where Whitney succeeds, somehow.

Peggy Carter/Whitney Frost: Honestly? Anything. I especially like Whitney succeeds!AUs and zero-matter-infected!Peggy AUs.

Critical Role

General: I consider the campaign guide, artbook, and anything said on Talks Machina nebulously canon at best (and don't know much of what's said on Talks, because I can neither watch live nor afford Alpha) so feel free to conform to/depart from what they say as you wish. I'm familiar with most wider D&D lore/sourcebooks/mechanics from 3.5e onwards, including 5e's unearthed arcana, if you want inspiration for additional worldbuilding/plotting (though I know 4e best). I like fics that take into account mechanical D&D limitations (e.g. characters saying they need to rest before doing any more magic) but DNW characters using the actual real-world terms (e.g. characters saying they're 'out of spell slots').

Fandom-specific DNW: Scanlan, Percy, Percy/Vex even as mentions, ace!Keyleth, Sylas involved in Cassandra/Delilah sex

Alternate Universe - Changeling the Lost: Vox Machina as a CtL motley! Keyleth-Raishan-Allura as a CtL motley! For AU-ing these characters I have a slight preference for fic set in the Hedge or in Arcadia rather than the mortal world, but I'm good with that too! Maybe the gods from Critical Role are true fae here, or maybe Raishan was Keyleth's Keeper and Allura is trying to rescue her.

Alternate Universe - Vampire: Look. I want to know what the world where Raishan is a DRAGON VAMPIRE is like (I assume there's a greater potential for non-lethal biting?? Maybe the only difference is that dragon-ism becomes transmittable like vampirism is and Raishan turns Keyleth and/or Allura into dragons). I can also never read enough AUs where the Briarwoods turned Cassandra into a vampire at some point during her captivity. I would prefer this not be a setting-change AU, but don't feel beholden to D&D rules re: vampires. Bloodplay and blood magic both highly encouraged.

Alternate Universe - Villain Wins: Raishan was obsessed with Keyleth and Allura during the fight in Opash's lair (Allura was unconscious twice! So much of Allura's support was directly to Keyleth!), and tbh I'm mostly thinking of the AU where she succeeds in capturing them and having them to help her with whatever ritual she was planning (Keyleth and Allura comfort!sex with voyeur!Raishan optional but encouraged if you're so inclined). I've always rather headcanoned her ritual as being ascension to godhood rather than a mere dracolich, and if you want to explore what happens when she actually ascends I am so, so here for it. I also love AUs where Delilah wins and continues to rule in Whitestone with Anna at her side and Cassandra at her feet, and Raishan makes her lair in the Alabaster Sierras.

Came back wrong: Oh, gods, almost any of them. Delilah after her first death in the Whitestone arc. Cassandra during her captivity (I like the idea that Delilah killed her multiple times and brought her back each time, Cass slowly becoming less human and more offering each time). Raishan, back from the dead cured of her disease but wrong in any other way. Allura - Matt confirmed on Twitter that she'd died at least once before, probably pre-stream during her own adventuring days, and I'd love any fic reckoning with that. Keyleth if she had died in the Hells (and, oof, the extra angst there of knowing that because she'd died the rest of her party was trapped/killed) or if the orb under Whitestone had killed her. Use of D&D resurrection mechanics beloved but optional.

Enemy lovers: Most of my requested ships, tbh. This tag is mostly just here as blanket confirmation that, yeah, hatesex/hateshipping is okay!

Lovestruck villain uses murder to flirt with hero: I'm not saying that all I want out of life is asshole housecatdragon Raishan leaving the corpses of everyone who has ever wronged Keyleth on the soorstep of Keyleth's house in Zephra but ... Raishan would, okay, and then she'd be offended that her presents weren't appreciated because you seemed perfectly fine with murder when YOU were threatening ME with it, Princess. It's only, like, 90% of what I want out of life. This is just as excellent of a trope when it's Delilah using murder to seduce/corrupt Cassandra ('look how much easier it makes ruling when you can simply kill people') or Raishan taking a slightly sideways approach to indulging Allura's curiosity about what a certain spell does.

Scars: I was mostly thinking of this in the context of either Raishan's disease scars or Cassandra and Delilah's possible vampire bite scars, but do with it what you will. I'm equally happy to see this in the context of scar worship during sex or one person inflicting scars on their partner.

Keyleth/Raishan: I’m obsessed with these vicious near-immortal sorceresses. There’s the potential for anything, from hatesex to philosophical arguments, to the reluctant ‘.....shit we grew old together and you’re the only one left who knows everything about me’ realisation. Polymorph/shapeshifting/wildshape sex is good. I like Keyleth domming Raishan if you're playing with D/s elements. There's so much to play with here with obsession and similarity and mirroring (either Keyleth or Raishan turning into each other during sex is um. The Best.) and honestly, feel free to go anywhere with this. For this pairing, if you want to write a Raishan redemption arc, I would completely here for it. I love alternate meeting AUs, or AUs where Raishan chose to infiltrate the Air Ashari in addition to/instead of the Fire Ashari. Raishan-survives AUs are also excellent, whether she survives as herself or as a dracolich/demigod/etc.

Keyleth/Raishan/Allura Vysoren
: I love alternate-meeting ideas: Allura falling in with Raishan while looking for ways to raise her friends who died fighting Thordak, Raishan picking Keyleth up early in her Aramente and Allura fighting to get her protege back. Keyleth being torn between two mentors, Raishan being obsessed with Allura's hoard of knowledge and Keyleth's life. In canonverse, Raishan in search of godhood with two of the most godless characters in the show as her means of ascension, nhh, I love. Don't soften Raishan unnecessarily (a lot of these scenarios have a lot of dubcon sex potential and I'm here for that) but also don't make her Cartoonishly Evil. Dark!Keyleth and Dark!Allura (and fics where either/both of them slowly turn darker over the course of the story) are great.

Raishan/Anna Ripley/Delilah Briarwood: I firmly believe that Raishan was headed towards having a collection of witchy ladies in canon and I fully support giving her said collection in fic. Whether they're trying to raise Vecna or save Raishan (or both!) or something completely else, there's so many fascinating dimensions of trust and magic to work with here and I want to know everything about them. Ripley dealing with Raishan instead of Orthax. Queens-of-Whitestone Anna and Delilah making friends with the dragon who lives in the forest nearby.

Raishan/The Raven Queen
: The one bit of campaign guide canon I am incredibly wedded to is the 'familiar spirit' flying back to her forest lair and oh my gods do I wanna know what happened between Raishan and the Raven Queen to make that possible. What bargain did she make, what (who?) did she promise, how was she changed? Or in a world where Raishan won, does she try to convince the Raven Queen to heal/spare her? Raishan's in such a strange place where she fights so hard against fate and yet in the fight ends up surrendering and I want to read everything about that.

Cassandra de Rolo/Delilah Briarwood: Cassandra as daughter/sacrifice/future Lady is endlessly fascinating to me. How cruel did she grow under the Briarwoods? Did she even mind? I'd love to see Delilah slowly introducing Cassandra to magic, to Vecna, to death. I really love the idea that Delilah might have killed and resurrected Cassandra more than once during their years together, all the better to prepare her to be a sacrifice to an Undying King. Whitestone as a semi-sentient city torn between two masters. Alternate takes on the Grey Hunt, anything involving vampire!Cassandra, Cassandra learning to manipulate her manipulator, AU where Cassandra chooses the Briarwoods for real during the ziggurat battle. Cass/Delilah sex (dubcon or consensual) is definitely okay as long as she's 16+ and Sylas isn't involved.

The Goblin Market - Christina Rossetti

General
: The poem is relatively short and here for easy reference, or if you are feeling unenthused about the request of mine you initially matched on and want to do something different. I love the way the poem plays with obsession and adoration and change and how people are dragged into and out of the weird spaces between life and death. I have a slight preference for gen here, but I'm open to any ships between the requested characters or requested character/OFC ships. I am also 100% here for an IN SPACE AU for this poem, so if any of the requested tags strike you as ones that would work well for a goblin market IN SPACE, feel free to run with that! I am fine with permadeath of any of the requested characters here - feel free to ignore that single DNW.

Fandom-specific DNW: Explicit sex.

Alternate Universe - Changeling: The Lost: Goblin markets are maybe more likely to be found in the hedge, but Arcadia and the WoD are just as delightful! I'd like to see the girls either as part of a motley all together, or taking on the roles of various True Fae, or Morpheans, or - oh, who am I kidding, CtL is My chronicle in all the ways, I will be delighted with however you choose to shape the AU. This can work as either a fusion (make the girls CtL characters) or as a sort of branching-off thing - the girls fall through the hedge sometime after Laura has recovered, maybe, and try to use their previous experience with the goblins to survive.

Alternate Universe - Southern Reach: Specifically bookverse for this AU please, I didn't like the Annihilation movie much. I would love love love seeing the girls reimagined as members of an Area X expedition. It doesn't have to be a re-telling of the twelfth expedition, I can totally see them being one of the early ones. Or possibly the girls are Area X creatures who encounter another expedition.

Alternate Universe - Vampire / Vampirism: Either the girls as vampires (or turned into vampires by the goblin fruits) or vampires in the place of the goblins - or both! That's ... yeah. Vampires. That's all I've got, really, they improve everything.

Came back wrong: Jeanie is, perhaps, the obvious one - maybe no grass grows on her grave because she isn't there to feed the soil. But I'm also interested in a Laura who comes back wrong from her post-fruit illness, or a Lizzie who comes back wrong from her won foray into the market (whether from eating a fruit or from something else).

Eerily pristine abandoned places / Eldritch locations:The first is maybe a subset of the second, and honestly I would be happy with basically anything set in either sort of place. Maybe they find another goblin market. Maybe they set up a goblin market of their own. Maybe a Jeanie-thing emerges from her abandoned yet perfectly kept grave a hundred years from the poem's end.

Kill You to Love You: I would love to see this in a maybe-not-even-alternate universe where one or both of the sisters killed Jeanie for some reason - one of them out of jealousy that Jeanie received the other's affections, or maybe the twins are just murderers for some reason. Maybe Laura kills Lizzie in a withdrawal fit or because she knows her sister can never have the same pleasure. Maybe Lizzie mercy-kills Laura (and realises too late that Laura was already well beyond death and is now looking for revenge?)

Nature Which Tries To Eat You / Nature Which Wants To Crawl Inside You And Never Come Out: Self .... explanatory? I like the idea that flowers don't grow on Jeanie's grave because they have gone inside the dirt and into Jeanie's corpse and are gonna crawl up hungry. I'm also really interested in how alive-alive the goblin fruits are.

Sentient Evil Spaceships / Space Horror: My initial thought was that the goblin market would take place on the sentient evil spaceship - perhaps with the 'goblins' being manifestations of the ship. Or possibly the girls are the spaceships out for revenge against the goblins who stole Jeanie from them. Space horror and the original poem are both brilliant for the horror of possibility, and I'd love to see something that leans into that.

Jeanie: I'm equally happy for fic with her to be set pre-death, or for her to come back somehow. I'm interested in how she died, whether by goblin magicks or by choice, and I'm interested in how she lives on as legend. I like reading a Jeanie who's strong but flawed, clear-sighted yet doomed, and I like reading her ghost/otherwise undead self taking advantage of the myths she spawned. I love her with the sisters - how close were they? Did she try to warn them, or did she want to drag them down with her?

Lizzie: Okay ngl the image of Lizzie standing fiery and unmoving amidst a sea of goblins was hashtag-formative, and I'm obsessed with that immense strength that frankly-bordering-on-stupid strength drawn from loving another person so much you nearly cease to exist. Lean into the horror of such an obsessive clever devotion and break my heart, please.

Laura: Oh, Laura, the things she learnt! I always found it fascinating that the deeper Laura sunk into her goblin-fruit stupor the less-and-more she seemed to know - not quite a mythical fruit of knowledge (in fact she loses the ability to see and hear the goblins in the regular world) yet she also quite clearly fades into another world at the same time. What does she find there, in the shadow-world? If Lizzie's obsessive devotion is to her sister Laura's is to something else entirely (knowledge? movement? sensations?) - what impact does that have on their relationship?

Picnic at Hanging Rock (TV 2018)

General: This show has a thesis of 'why be a girl when you could be an eldritch horror instead' because it loves me, it really loves me. I love the bonds and the backstabbing and the love-through-horror, I love the changeling girls and the amount of respect it gives stories of self-creation.

Alternate Universe - Star Wars Sith: Sith Lady Hester runs an academy for young Sith-in-training. Start there with any of my requested groups and I already love it. Slight preference for Old Republic (like, SWTOR/KOTOR era) setting, but any time period is good honestly.

Alternate Universe - Vampire: Some or all of my requested characters are vampires, and I am delighted. Vampire: the Requiem elements/full AU gleefully accepted.

Castaways in Time: The ambiguity is the point and I love it but also if you have a way to tell stories about what happened to the girls while they were in the Rock - or what happened to Hester, Dianne, or Sara in AUs where they end up there - in a way that keeps the same eldrtich/dreamy/mysterious style, I want to read it. How does Irma readjust to linear/static time, if at all?

Forests that probably want to eat you, Nature which tries to eat you, nature which wants to crawl inside you and never come out: The bush and the trees and the rocks and the girls are all so hungry and I want to know everything about what it's like being so consumed by the land around you especially when (like most of my requested characters)

Mind games, mind manipulation: Honestly I think it's kinda hard to write most of these ships without some level of fucked-up mental games, especially on Hester and (to a lesser extent) Miranda's parts

Space Horror, cosmic horror: Because I will never say no to an IN SPACE AU for this show, and, frankly, what's beyond the rock is basically already horror in canon and I would love others going to/through the rock.

Somnophilia: For any of the / pairings, yes please! I especially love this paired with outdoor settings, and, for Hester ships, the more dubcon-y the better.

Hester Appleyard & Miranda Reid & Sara Waybourne: The ways in which Miranda and Sara try - and fail - to protect each other from Hester (and maybe end up just hurting each other more in the process) are endlessly fascinating to me. I'd love something that plays up the identity confusion - they all see dangerous amounts of themselves in each other. Something that works with the contrast between Miranda and Sara in the woods and Hester in her house.

Hester Appleyard/Dianne de Poitiers: The hatesex, oh my gods. But also, Dianne owes so much to Hester and never quite manages to hate her, stands between Hester and the girls because she knows how easy it is to be cruel. There's an odd undercurrent of 'why aren't you better' that they both have towards each other (and themselves) and I'd love a story that lives int the lovely-awful tangled knots they tie each other into.

Hester Appleyard/Irma Leopold: Ohhh man. The interrogations, the concerns for propriety, the way Irma's refusal to speak sometimes counts as a mark of devotion. Their different approaches to doing what Must be done, a special sort of ruthless displacement. I love epistolary elements always, but especially for them.

Irma Leopold/Miranda Reid/Miriam Quade: Gods. These girls and their vows to each other that literally break time and space, I am obsessed. Stories of their time beyond the Rock, Irma comes back, more games like the body-comparison scene, any of the girls as literal cosmic horror entities.

The Southern Reach Trilogy - Jeff VanderMeer

General: Yoooo these books. I love them as a changeling story, I love them as a story of nature-as-entity, I love them as a story of how desolation is never bleak and usually alive.

Fandom-specific DNW: Movieverse canon, named characters

Requested tags:

The Biologist:

The Psychologist:

The Biologist & The Psychologist:

Star Wars Rebels

General: I never had strong feelings about whumpfic and then Hera happened to me and I love her to pieces and want all the mindfucky and a lot of the physical whump for her. I'm happy to see her paired with Ahsoka, Leia, Sabine, or Mon Mothma as a secondary/comfort pairing along with the main Hera/Pryce, but it's totally not a requirement.

Fandom-specific DNW: Kanan/Hera, Jacen Syndulla or any other child for Hera, roleswap

Came back wrong: Pryce, after the liberation of Lothal. Vampire, cyborg, eldritch-Force abomination - get as creative as you like with specifics!

Creepy fluff: I love this in a captor/captive setting a lot, but it can work with basically any scenario these two are in.

Eerily pristine abandoned places: Hera and Pryce run into each other in one of these and Things Happen. Abandoned ships are thematically appropriate for the pairing, but I'm also delighted by planets/moons, bases, part of the remnant of Lothal's Imperial Complex .... (would work well with 'came back wrong' if Hera runs into a Distinctly Changed Arihnda).

Interrogation: Like the canon scene, but Kanan never shows up and it's much longer, with many more mind games and many more opportunities for dubcon-y sex. Or an AU where Pryce survives and Hera captures her and repays the interrogation gift.

Lovestruck villain uses murder to flirt with hero: Eldritch horror Arihnda Pryce making a second lifetime of dropping corpses in front of the Ghost while it's in hyperspace going is this what flirting is? is Many things that I want in life. That being said I'd be equally delighted by a closer-to-canonverse seduction-via-murder/see how much more power I could give you sort of deal.

Obsession: Self-explanatory, probably. They're just as obsessed with each other as they are with bringing each other down, and I am so here for all of it.

Sentient Evil Spaceships: Hera steals a new Imperial ship and finds out Pryce has somehow been preserved as its AI. Pryce and Hera are trapped on a sentient ship and have to work together to beat it.

Weapon Used As a Sex Toy: Specifically Pryce getting fucked with her own blaster, or one of them finding creative uses for interrogation droids.

Arihnda Pryce/Hera Syndulla: Look, if the Rebels crew didn't want this to be the hero/villain ship of my dreams they wouldn't have cast Mary Elizabeth McGlynn as Pryce. I love all the mind games, all the AUs where Pryce reluctantly survives the finale and she and Hera chase each other across the galaxy in a weirdly personal cat-and-mouse that neither of them can understand but neither of them can live without. Pryce represents a really specific bit of the Empire, philosophically, that we don't see that often, and I would read anything and anything about how that runs up against Hera's lifetime of fighting.

Star Wars Sequel Trilogy

General: I've read Bloodline, Phasma, and Leia: Princess of Alderaan, seen Rebels and some of TCW, and play SWTOR & KOTOR2, but that's about as far as my canon or legends EU knowledge goes. Use/ignore elements of them as you wish, and if you borrow from elsewhere let me know so I know what to read next :D Force-sensitive Amilyn per Laura Dern's interview would be amazing, but also just the vaguely-witchy like in PoA is fine too. AUs where one or both of the twins were raised by Rebellion founder Padmé or Dark Empress/Sith Lord Padmé are always gleefully accepted. I ship Rey/Kylo and Finn/Rose and am happy to see them as background relationships in compatible requests. I consider Rey Nobody canon but I enjoy Rey Palpatine AUs (Look, if he made weird Force baby Anakin, who says he didn't make weird Force baby Rey). I'm thoroughly indifferent to Han/Leia so feel free to presume it never happened/open marriage/amicable divorce/Han's death as is convenient.

Fandom-specific DNW: Poe, references to/acknowledgement of Amilyn's canonverse death, unhappy endings for requested ships/characters.

Addiction to dark magic: I mostly see this with Leia, tbh. She avoids using the Force because her affinity for it lies in mental manipulation and she's frightened of how much she wants that power, until she starts using it once and then twice and three time and and and until she can't live without it anymore, each time justifying it and each time her partner(s) believing her less and less and trying to bring her back from it. Also interesting with Rey, who doesn't quite realise what she's doing at first, and how she slowly drags herself away from the sort of person Jakku made her into.

Alternate Universe - Changeling: The Lost: The requested characters are part of a Changeling motley! Force-sensitives are True Fae! Rey stumbles through the Hedge into Amilyn and Leia's court! Go wild, friend.

Alternate Universe - Sith: Any or all of them could be Sith really easily imo. Sith!Leia, raised by her father or dark!Padmé, Sith!Amilyn with an odd sort of reckless nihilism who found stories of the Jedi as a child on Gatalenta and grew to hate them, Rey as either of their apprentices, or possibly Snoke's. I'm especially interested in the dark side of Amilyn's 'happiness is our moral imperative' line from Princess of Alderaan. This can be an Empire never fell/Resistance lost AU as long as the requested ship(s) that we matched on are together and happy.

Alternate Universe - Vampires: Vampires improve most things, but space vampires improve them even more. I love the idea of Force-sensitives as vampires, possibly feeding on life forces/Force signatures instead of or in addition to blood. I don't have a preference whether the characters all start out as vampires or if one turns the other(s). Bloodplay and blood magic encouraged. Vampire: The Requiem references (or, honestly, even an entire V:tR AU) delightedly accepted.

Breathplay: Yes good always especially with Force-choking and one character (lbr it is Probably Leia but it could be any of them) accidentally being too rough.

Cosmic horror: I mean ... [points at the Force]. Yeah. I like stories about the Force as an eldritch abomination. I like Force-sensitives as literal cosmic bodies and the horror of loving one of them and being loved by them in return.

Eerily pristine abandoned places, Eldritch locations: What they say on the tins! Planets, spaceships, moons, that one weird part of hyperspace that steadfastly resists all attempts to map it, the ruins of the Imperial observatory on Jakku, the lake on Gatalenta that's definitely Something's home, the wound in space/time/the Force where Alderaan used to be ...

Eldritch/Dark marriage ritual: Witchy eldritch Force babes, sitting by the void, k-i-s-s-i- ... you get the point. The Force makes them do it, or they do it to strengthen it, or Sith!Amilyn marries Leia to keep Alderaan in the Empire and gets more than she bargained for, or...

Forests that probably want to eat you, nature which wants to crawl inside of you and never come out: Good and important settings for any fic about these women., especially Rey who is about to have some Revelations about the danger of all that green that she loved on Takodana. Pairs well with sex pollen.

Sentient evil spaceships: I'd love close-to-canon missionfic for this: characters find ship, endure horror, eventually win. But feel free to go for wilder interpretations - maybe the requested characters are the sentient evil ships (Sith!Leia who is the Death Star, Amilyn becoming the Supremacy when she rams it, etc).

Sex in the blood of their enemies: What it says on the tin. Pairs especially well with the Sith & Vampire AUs imo, but also excellent in the form of 'oh fuck we really did just survive that' in closer-to-canonverse.

Sex pollen: Self-explanatory, tbh. I especially like an unaffected character helping their partner through the sex pollen and then comforting/reassuring them, or sex pollen introduced to an existing relationship getting Wildly and unintentionally out of hand.

Sex to power magic: The Force is all about connection, which means there are Many opportunities for the Force to actually be about sex magic, and I would like to read all of them. Especially excellent in the context of the Sith AU, also especially excellent if it's accidental during Rey's first time with Amilyn and Leia, also excellent in the 'verse where Leia and Amilyn have been having slightly #obligatory sex for ages because it's needed for ~Force reasons and then they realise they've caught feelings (the Sith AU can be piled on top of that one too tbh).

Somnophilia: Yes good goes well in canonverse as well as any of the requested AUs. I have a special fondness for partners who have running bets as to how long it will take the one to wake up, and partners who compete to see who can wake up their third the soonest/latest.

Weapon used as a sex toy: I'm easy, I just want someone to get fucked with a lightsaber (okay my ideal is 'let Leia get fucked with a lightsaber' but honestly I would be so happy with any of them).

Amilyn Holdo/Leia Organa: I love them. I love how much they love each other and I love how obvious it was even in less than five minutes of screentime. I want them to be happy together and I'd love something that speaks to the depth of their connection (or future depth, if you're writing them younger). Sexwise I prefer domme!Amilyn if you're playing with power dynamics but the other way around is good as well.

Leia Organa/Rey: I super love the mentorship aspects of this. Rey is eager to please and eager to learn and Leia wants to give her better guidance and a better world than the one she grew up in. I like the isolated-leaders-finding-each-other trope, I like the h/c potential. I don't have super strong power dynamics headcanons, but I do think that Leia's like ... the Single character in the ST that Rey would sub for.

Amilyn Holdo/Leia Organa/Rey: Dream OT3 of witchy eldritch Force creatures, tbh. Mentorship, new discoveries, cosmic horror, sex, Resistance missions ... I love all the possibilities. I tend to see this as Rey being welcomed into established Amilyn/Leia, but especially in the Sith!AU I'm open to other interpretations.
