darkest night 2019 (tv and movies edition)
Hello friend, it is time for dark and/or pornt femslash and I am so excited to see what you will write for me! If you want inspiration beyond this letter I am also ![[archiveofourown.org profile]](https://p.dreamwidth.org/b164c54b26e4/-/archiveofourown.org/favicon.ico)
kimaracretak, where I have a small but reflective-of-things-I-like set of bookmarks, and kimaracretak on 8tracks if you want #aesthetic musical inspiration.
I've by and large chosen canons I love for their worldbuilding and mytharcs as well as their characters and relationships, and I am easy to please as long as you stay away from my DNWs (both general and canon-specific), so don't feel like you Have to write any of my specific prompts. Don't read anything into relative lengths of sections, I am equally happy to get something for anything in this letter! Some of these prompts are reused from old letters, and if you have written them for me before, rest assured that I loved your fic, I am simply greedy and would like to see every possible take on my favourite scenarios.
I don't mind if the M/E rating is for smut or dark themes (both is very very good). I love everything from short introspection bits to long plotty missionfic to sex scenes as ways to explore character/setting/worldbuilding, and I don't need a lot of romance in my ships: sex for power, manipulation, or just between friends who want to have fun is also great. Please no unrequested ships unless specifically allowed for, but feel free to combine any compatible ones from my requested ones.

General: Please refer to Lilith as Lilith (rather than Madam Satan) for fic from her POV/from the POV of people who know she's no longer Mary Wardwell. I like worldbuiling and pre-canon stories, especially stories about Lilith slowly siphoning witches away from Satan, stories where Sabrina (or Zelda, or the Weird Sisters) sign their name over to Lilith directly rather than into the Book of the Beast, and stories about centuries of history and the distinctly inhuman perceptions and desires of witches and demons. There's so many levels of glorious fucked-up obsessive mentorship here along with, you know, the gore and the deification-via-cannibalism and I love all of them. Murder + in-fic resurrection/came back wrong is fine for any of these prompts. If relevant, I also ship Edward/Zelda and Prudence/Sabrina/Nick as the OT3 and any component pairs.

Desmelda: I love her and I want the world for her! Stories about how she built a home in the wood and how the wood won't let her die, stories about other covens she tried to run away to, stories about how she's reached out to/protected other witches in dreams throughout the years.
Agatha/Sabrina: The murder made me ship it, I have simple story loves and 'I am going to kill and resurrect youBECAUSE I CAN for the greater good which maybe isn't actually that good' is super high on that list! I would love more of the fallout from that, Agatha being distinctly Something Else even after the necromancy ritual was theoretically cancelled - maybe even something that has her own plans for how the Dark Lord should be overthrown. I'd also love something that digs into the academic side of witchery for them - creating spells, giving old rituals new weight, Agatha teaching Sabrina. A world where Sabrina is Queen of Hell!Lilith's faovured consort and Agatha is Sabrina's priest. The two of them stumble over some ritual site in the Greendale Wood. Dreamsharing/affecting each other's dreams as a result of the necromancy.
Lilith/Mary: I'm just. Super charmed that the future queen of hell saw Mary Wardwell and was like 'yes, this one, the perfect person to kill and possess, but she makes really good tea and biscuits so I need to stay and chat first!' I'd love it if they had more time together — by the fireplace before Mary's murder, or maybe Lilith possesses her without murder so Mary is trapped inside her own head unable to resist being more and more into what Lilith is using her body for. Or maybe Mary was a witch and recognised Lilith (or something magical about her), just not in time to actually stop her death from happening - or! In time to make some creepy Faustian bargains with her! How does their relationship change post-S2? What sort of presence was Mary in Lilith's dreams while Lilith was in her body - or what presence was Lilith in Mary's dreams pre- or post-possession.
Lilith/Prudence: Prudence deserves a better authority figure than Faustus, and she and Lilith both know it. Anything about Lilith seducing Prudence away from the Church of Night/Academy, showing her true power, or anything about Queen of Hell!Lilith with Prudence as her priestess, or anything post-s2. Prudence has such a steady, sincere sort of faith, and while I think she definitely has that faith in Lilith as well, it would be interesting to see how it collides with Lilith's rather more chaotic plans. Prudence is also much more grounded in Greendale as a witch-place, so I'd love to see some of the stories she grew up hearing about Lilith and how she reconciles those with reality.
Lilith/Sabrina: I am 100% convinced that Sabrina's crush on the original Mary Wardwell was a factor in Lilith's choice of person to possess. She wants Sabrina, and she wants Sabrina to be her, and Sabrina is? Entirely okay with that? The implication of 'Lilith takes over the Dark Lord's place and Sabrina takes over Lilith's' is really obviously going to a consort-to-the-queen-of-hell!Sabrina place? Lilith stares at Sabrina like she's the most fascinating thing she's ever seen? Sabrina thinks Lilith is the only person in the world who understands her? Lilith red-string-of-fate kited Sabrina through mortal purgatory? The soundtrack underlines their scenes with phrases like If I had a heart I would love you? This picture exists? This ship is tailor-made for me IN CANON and I don't know what to do with myself about it! S1 was super heavy-handed with the 'turning sixteen is basically equivalent to marrying Satan' imagery, so basically - that, but with Lilith instead! Possession rituals, blood magic, the literal entire forest dressing Sabrina up to meet her queen-of-Hell bride. Lilith kills and resurrects Sabrina multiple times to make her the perfect witch. Dream sex/dream promises that become real, dreams-as-prophecy.
Lilith/Zelda: Oh man this ship is such a glorious mess of feelings about embodiment and apotheosis and pride and praise and I am dead, and cordially invite you to be dead with me! Zelda's whole … wanting to fuck not even necessarily her gods but like the entire concept of divinity is so MUCH, and Lilith is absolutely amused by it. I love fics that get into how wildly other Lilith is as a demon queen, how her perceptions of desire and bodies would differ. Praise kink, competency kink - Zelda has a hard time admitting even to herself how desperate she is to prove herself, and I totally see Lilith granting or witholding praise just to see what she can make Zelda do, what she can make Zelda admit she wants. I have some preference for fics set after Zelda knows Lilith's true identity, but I also love stories about the reveal (less into 'hm I want to fuck my niece's hot teacher for some reason' stories). Lilith marrying Zelda to get her away from Faustus, Zelda and Lilith marrying in order for Zelda's status as her prophet to be legitimised. Feel free to use any of the songs from this fanmix as prompts.
Prudence/Sabrina: That queen-and-handmaiden dynamic at the Feast of Feasts is my dream, and I would die for more of it. I love stories about Prudence showing Sabrina the weird bits of the witch world that she didn't see/hear of growing up, and I love the capacity they have to magnify each other's cruelties despite or because of their best wishes.
General: This show has a thesis of 'why be a girl when you could be an eldritch horror instead' because it loves me, it really loves me. I love the bonds and the backstabbing and the love-through-horror, I love the changeling girls and the amount of respect it gives stories of self-creation. I love the contrast between the suffocating boarding-school atmosphere and the equally terrifying 'I would like to let the sky eat me' of the Rock and how that's reflected in the characters' emotional relationships. Permadeath of any of the requested characters is fine for this fandom, as is ambiguous/show-consistent explanations of what happened at the Rock. The show does so much excellent work with forests that probably want to eat you/nature which tries to eat you/nature which wants to crawl inside you and never come out and I want to see infinitely more of it!

Hester/Dianne: I mean, hatesex for always if you go porny, or any sort of emotionally manipulative sensuality. There's an odd undercurrent of 'why aren't you better' that they both have towards each other (and themselves) and I'd love a story that lives in the lovely-awful tangled knots they tie each other into, and the ways in which they can't quite bring themselves to wish they were more like the other. I'd love to see an AU where Dianne accompanies Hester to the Rock or one where Hester and Dianne moved and built a new school out of the ruins of the first Academy. Any sort of post-canon fic where Hester haunts Dianne in her new position. Hester and Dianne as Dark and Light-aligned Sith (respectively?) disagree over the running of their school, Hester and Dianne as fellow (rival?) Gentry. Hester helps Dianne adjust to the Australian Masquerade, and how it differs from the one in France. Any kind of dreamsharing, any AU where it's more explicit that Dianne manipulated Hester into going to the Rock and jumping.
Hester/Greta: Greta owes Hester a lot, and while she never goes to the lengths Hester did to keep her secrets (largely because Hester didn't care) I feel like they're both very aware Greta is on a very thin line there, and I'd love to see some exploration of that. I'd love something that leans in the loyalty kink - sexual or not, consensual or not (more dubiously consensual loyalty kink forever and ever). The whole ... we both know what the other isn't saying and why and we're both responding to that sort of conversation/mutual existence is so good, and I'd love more of it.
Hester/Miranda: I love how Miranda spends the whole series deconstructing Hester so deftly no one's quite sure what she's done til the very end. Maybe Hester sees Miranda at the Rock, maybe Miranda taunts her about Sara, maybe one of Hester's attempts to dress her up nicely backfires somehow. An extension of the punishment scene, especially one including Hester bandaging her hands afterwards instead of Irma and Marion, and the glorious emotional whiplash that could provoke. Miranda's space pirate crew blackmailing Hester's, Hester turning Miranda in a vampire AU.
Hester & Miranda & Sara: The Hester-Miranda in this can be as shippy or not as you feel like. Hester & Sara's cold war is one of my favourite things about the show, and I just want to see more of it with Miranda trapped in the middle, whether it's pre-series, missing scenes, or even post-series where they're ghosts haunting each other. I'd love to see them at the Rock together in some sort of canon-divergence, or pre-series fic about Sara first coming to the Academy and starting to become suspicious of Hester. More sneaking around, more disturbingly cheerful games, more races through the woods, just - more of them. Sara going to teacher!Marion in one of those AUs to try to convince her to turn against Hester. Sara is actually a thousand year old vampire in ten year old skin. Sith!Hester grooms Sara to be her apprentice but is unprepared for Sara's morals. Miranda and Sara trying and failing to protect each other from Hester - and arguably causing each others' deaths/in-show endings - is so endlessly fascinating
Greta/Marion: Secret relationship and mentorship problems, everything I love. Greta's so ambiguosly lost at the end, even more so than Marion and Miranda - does she ever find her way past the rock and into Marion's new world? What does that look like? Firsts - first meetings, first kisses, first times with various sex acts, first time a parent looks at those two teachers and wonders. Marion becoming a teacher at the Academy, either the mid-canon one or post-canon if Hester succeeded in building a new one, and what that might look like when Miranda and/or Irma are still lost, or perhaps she came back instead of Irma. Time loops where they try over and over to pass beyond the Rock together. One turning the other into a vampire. Sith AUs where they are going to find a way for Marion to be a Sith Lord that doesn't involve killing Greta ... right? (Or not, angsty betrayal also A++)
General: I have a mild preference for 'only Jyn and Cassian survived Scarif' AUs over 'everybody lived', but if you'd prefer the latter, go for it. I love it when Leia grows up in Padmé lives AUs whether they're Rebellion founder!Padmé ones or Sith Lady Padmé ones. Sith!Leia AUs that are also Jedi!Luke ones are good, as are Sith twins ones.

Jyn/Leia: Rebellion babes! they have such different reasons for being there, which of course makes me want missionfic - how do they deal with each others' wildly different tactics in the field? Or good old-fashioned sparring-leads-to-sex character smut. Or maybe Jyn survives and is Leia's (secret?) ally in the New Republic government, or maybe Leia tries to recruit her for the Resistance. Jyn finds out that the truth about Leia's father is going to be leaked (either how it happened in Bloodline or in an entirely different way), and takes it on herself to prevent that (by offering to marry her, With Conditions). Anything with these two butting heads but ultimately being (reluctantly) caring/protective of each other will be loved, but also .... feel free to embrace the potential for angst and the viciousness. Leia has it out for Jyn because her father was responsible for Alderaan's destruction. Jyn flips it around after the Vader reveal and punishes her. Dealing with the trauma of being connected to such loss - there's something about wounds in the Force there that I'd love to see explored. Imperial!Jyn marries Leia to try to subdue Alderaan, and feelings happen (or don't). Sith!Leia captures Jyn and convinces her marriage is a better choice than death. Sith!Leia/Imperial!Jyn as dark queens of Alderaan. (Sith!)Leia becomes addicted to the Force/using the Force and Jyn either struggles to cope or encourages her. Exploring a ghost/doomed ship on a mission, or perhaps the doomed ship is one of theirs, in a villains-win AU?
Jyn/Mon: Rebellion leaders and the girls they dress up to die is one of my absolute favourite dynamics, and I love how much Jyn pushes back against it and how studiously un-conflicted Mon has to present. I would love a reckoning after Jyn comes back from Scarif, one that never quite resolves over the years. How do they find breaking points in each other? What does it do to you, to know so intimately when and how someone will bend, especially when you're not even sure you like them? How does Jyn become, willingly or not, a part of Mon's new Republic, or how does she convince herself to leave?
Mon/Leia: I have a mentor/protege problem a light-year wide and they hit every single element of it. Part of me wants to think this ship lends itself well to mutual pining and secrecy - they're both at the top levels of Rebellion command, after all. But also part of me wants fancy accomplished political wives running the New Republic together, or Leia going to her old friend/lover for commiseration/oh-Maker-why-is-this-happening-again comfort when she starts thinking about forming the Resistance, and the inevitable bad end. I would also be interested in something a bit darker in their dynamic, like, is Leia being seen entirely as a Padmé-replacement? That would be super interesting to explore. Or a Dark Empress Padmé AU where Mon is trying to turn Leia to the Rebellion's side/Leia goes to Mon for comfort and help because she knows what her mother's doing is wrong? Sith!Mon and Leia as her apprentice, Mon an established Summer Court noble and Leia the newcomer threatening to dismantle things she's worked for, one sacrificing the other for the New Republic, via suicide missions or something else.
General: Any era, any alignment of the requested characters is fine. In canon-divergent AUs, I like smuggler!Qi'ra, Sith!Leia, and Rey as an eldritch creature/harbinger of death. Qi'ra/Rey: The could be a dream eldritch smuggling team - Qi'Ra picking Rey up from Jakku at some/any point - or something darker in an empire!Rey AU (I like 'Rae Sloane takes Rey from Jakku and raises her to be a Grand Admiral' AUs for Imperial!Rey, but if you have other thoughts, go for them!). Qi'ra finding a nearly-inhuman Rey who never met Jyn, some adventure where Rey's been Qi'ra's lieutenant for ages, Rey falling for the glamorous smuggler who may or may not be helping the Resistance. Shenanigans, finding belonging in crime, fun or angsty porn - take this where you like! In CtL AUs I enjoy Qi'ra as some Liz Malloy-type who's escaped her Keeper but enjoys sending Changelings and mortals back to them when it's convenient to her - perhaps she tries to return Changeling!Rey to Jakku? And feral Gangrel!Rey (Gangreyl) is always great in VtR ones. Rey is some kind of eldritch Force legend that Qi'ra thinks is a myth until she runs across her on a smuggling run, Rey finds the ruins of a Crimson Dawn stronghold being haunted by an improbably-alive Qi'ra.
Qi'ra/Jyn: Jyn ending up in Crimson Dawn hands and slowly coming to trust (or never coming to trust!) Qi'ra, adventures with smuggler!Qi'ra, especially if she keeps finding Jyn in more and more ridiculous predicaments. In worlds where Jyn survives Scarif and stays with the Rebellion, how and when does she run into Qi'ra (Rebellion leadership orders? Accident?). Undercover as a couple shenanigans, especially if Jyn hates it and Qi'ra is just thrilled she can dress her up (to die). Canonverse, their brands of cynicism are so different, and I cannot resist the thought of smashing them together (and making them fuck, if you feel so inclined).
Jyn/Rey: Lovely, lonely, angry desert babes - I feel like they'd have so much to bond over, and I'd love to see older survivor!Jyn with Rey, and how they slowly learn to trust & love each other. I like this with eldritch!Rey or Jedi!Rey and anything in between. Jyn come-back-wrong after Scarif is especially interesting in the former situation (accidental kyber crystal necromancy?) and Resistance!Jyn is especially great for the latter (Leia and/or the Force nudging them together). Haunted desert adventures, odd connections to the Force, all kinds of lonely angry encounters.
General: I've read Bloodline, Phasma, and Leia: Princess of Alderaan, seen Rebels and some of TCW, and play SWTOR & KOTOR2, but that's about as far as my canon or legends EU knowledge goes. Use/ignore elements of them as you wish, and if you borrow from elsewhere let me know so I know what to read next :D Force-sensitive Amilyn per Laura Dern's interview would be amazing, but also just the vaguely-witchy like in PoA is fine too. AUs where one or both of the twins were raised by Rebellion founder Padmé or Dark Empress/Sith Lord Padmé, or one or both of the twins are Sith/Jedi, are always gleefully accepted. I ship Rey/Kylo and Finn/Rose and am happy to see them as background relationships in compatible requests. Always-a-girl!Kylo is great in any fic where Kylo's plot-relevant. I'm thoroughly indifferent to Han/Leia so feel free to presume it never happened/open marriage/amicable divorce/Han's death as is convenient.

Amilyn/Leia: I love them. I love how much they love each other and I love how obvious it was even in less than five minutes of screentime. I want them to be happy together and I'd love something that speaks to the depth of their connection (or future depth, if you're writing them younger) - something set later in their lives after they've been together for a while, something earlier in their lives where they go 'oh, this is My Person' for the first time would be equally loved. Sexwise I prefer domme!Amilyn if you're playing with power dynamics but the other way around is good as well. In Sith!AUs, I'd love something exploring the darker side of the 'happiness is our moral imperative' line they kept repeating in PoA. If only one is Sith, explorations of how they try to bring the other to their side are wonderful. I'd love something that puts Amilyn in Leia's life during the Rebellion/inter-war/Bloodline period, I'd love something that's a post-Crait fixit (someone give Amilyn/Leia + Rey/Ben the small cottage in the Chandrilan woods away from everything painful that they deserve, alternately, someone let Amilyn and Leia have the 'I can't believe we just survived that' sex on the Falcon/next Resistance base that they also deserve), I'd love them co-parenting baby Ben while Han's off doing something else. Plotty missionfic - something involving sentient spaceships/eldritch places (the wound in the Force where Alderaan used to be, creepy lakes on Gatalenta, abandoned ships/bases) would be loved too.
Amilyn/Paige: I adore Poe-dies-instead-of-Paige AUs, but something pre-TLJ (missionfic, dreamsharing, weird planets, etc) or setting-change AUs (vampire Amilyn turning Paige, Amilyn (un)knowingly taking vampire siblings aboard) are also fabulous.
Amilyn/Rey: Rey's willingness to learn from everyone she meets is one of my favourite things about her, and I'm really curious what you think she would end up learning from Amilyn - or teach her in turn. Astrology stories, maybe, Rey telling Amilyn about the constellations she found there and seeing how the stories are connected to other ones across the galaxy. Grey Jedi or Sith Amilyn/Grey Jedi or Sith apprentice Rey. Rey gets to take a vacation on Gatalenta. Rey uses the Force to save Amilyn on the Supremacy.
Leia/Rey: Mentorship, pining, established relationship, getting together ... I love it all. I have special fondness for training fics, whether that's like an AU where Rey is Jedi!Leia's padawan and the two of them go on a reforming-the-Jedi-order quest or something post-Crait where Leia and Rey build lightsabers together. I also enjoy Leia introducing Rey to luxuries she didn't have on Jakku -- baths, nice clothes/lingerie, etc. I'm still lowkey mad Padmé's wardrobe got flung into hyperspace, and missionfic to recover it would be delightful. Dark AUs (Sith!Leia, Snoke's apprentice!Rey, etc) would be fabulous as well, whether they're both dark side Force users, or one is trying to convince the other to join them. I love Vampire AUs always but especially for these two, whether that's just general vampires or something that puts the Kindred into the SW verse.
General: (See above.) Feel free to add Finn to any of these to make an OT3/OT4, or pair him with Rose or Rey in the background of one of the two-person ships. F!Ben | Kylo always excellent even where not specifically requested. I'm 100% happy for either Ben or Kylo to be treated as gender-neutral names for f!Kylo, but if you want to change her name I'm fond of 'Breha'.
Fandom-specific DNW: Poe, irredeemable/only redeemable via death!Kylo (Kylo can, yknow, definitely be killed and eaten because Rey and Rose love him, but that should be separate from any sort of redemption arc).

(Female) Kylo/Rey: Putting these together because ... look, Kylo's written and presented so androgenously anyway that nothing really changes between the two. This is the ship of my heart in a lot of really unexpected ways, and I love what it has to say about redemption and belief and our capability for survival ... and so I want terrible things to happen to them. I love force horrors and cosmic horrors and monster!Rey, and I love very subby Ben literally feeding himself to Rey because he loves her, I love Jedi!Ben vs Grand Empress!Rey. I love them as touch starved traumatised Changelings finding hope in each other and I love them as vampire lovers hunting the remnants of the First Order. Basically: deeply weird shit + devotion and I am happy!
Rose/Kylo: Enemy lovers or enemies to lovers are both excellent for this - any sort of facing eldritch horrors together while Kylo is Distinctly Unforgiven for what he's done (and knows it! and wants to be punished!) while Rose tolerates and maybe even has some affection for him because of Rey (and she's more than happy to punish him when he asks). Any sort of forced to work together or roleswap.
Rey/Rose/Kylo: Honestly - any of the above but with all three, and I will be so happy.

I like worldbuiling and pre-canon stories, especially stories about Lilith slowly siphoning witches away from Satan, stories where Sabrina (or Zelda, or the Weird Sisters) sign their name over to Lilith directly rather than into the Book of the Beast, and stories about centuries of history and the distinctly inhuman perceptions and desires of witches and demons. Agatha/Sabrina: The murder made me ship it, I have simple story loves and 'I am going to kill and resurrect you
Lilith/Mary: I'm just. Super charmed that the future queen of hell saw Mary Wardwell and was like 'yes, this one, the perfect person to kill and possess, but she makes really good tea and biscuits so I need to stay and chat first!' I'd love it if they had more time together — by the fireplace before Mary's murder, or maybe Lilith possesses her without murder so Mary is trapped inside her own head unable to resist being more and more into what Lilith is using her body for. Or maybe Mary was a witch and recognised Lilith (or something magical about her), just not in time to actually stop her death from happening - or! In time to make some creepy Faustian bargains with her! How does their relationship change post-S2? What sort of presence was Mary in Lilith's dreams while Lilith was in her body - or what presence was Lilith in Mary's dreams pre- or post-possession.
Lilith/Prudence: Prudence deserves a better authority figure than Faustus, and she and Lilith both know it. Anything about Lilith seducing Prudence away from the Church of Night/Academy, showing her true power, or anything about Queen of Hell!Lilith with Prudence as her priestess, or anything post-s2. Prudence has such a steady, sincere sort of faith, and while I think she definitely has that faith in Lilith as well, it would be interesting to see how it collides with Lilith's rather more chaotic plans. Prudence is also much more grounded in Greendale as a witch-place, so I'd love to see some of the stories she grew up hearing about Lilith and how she reconciles those with reality.
Lilith/Sabrina: I am 100% convinced that Sabrina's crush on the original Mary Wardwell was a factor in Lilith's choice of person to possess. She wants Sabrina, and she wants Sabrina to be her, and Sabrina is? Entirely okay with that? The implication of 'Lilith takes over the Dark Lord's place and Sabrina takes over Lilith's' is really obviously going to a consort-to-the-queen-of-hell!Sabrina place? Lilith stares at Sabrina like she's the most fascinating thing she's ever seen? Sabrina thinks Lilith is the only person in the world who understands her? Lilith red-string-of-fate kited Sabrina through mortal purgatory? The soundtrack underlines their scenes with phrases like If I had a heart I would love you? This picture exists? This ship is tailor-made for me IN CANON and I don't know what to do with myself about it! S1 was super heavy-handed with the 'turning sixteen is basically equivalent to marrying Satan' imagery, so basically - that, but with Lilith instead! Possession rituals, blood magic, the literal entire forest dressing Sabrina up to meet her queen-of-Hell bride. Lilith kills and resurrects Sabrina multiple times to make her the perfect witch. Dream sex/dream promises that become real, dreams-as-prophecy.
Lilith/Zelda: Oh man this ship is such a glorious mess of feelings about embodiment and apotheosis and pride and praise and I am dead, and cordially invite you to be dead with me! Zelda's whole … wanting to fuck not even necessarily her gods but like the entire concept of divinity is so MUCH, and Lilith is absolutely amused by it. I love fics that get into how wildly other Lilith is as a demon queen, how her perceptions of desire and bodies would differ. Praise kink, competency kink - Zelda has a hard time admitting even to herself how desperate she is to prove herself, and I totally see Lilith granting or witholding praise just to see what she can make Zelda do, what she can make Zelda admit she wants. I have some preference for fics set after Zelda knows Lilith's true identity, but I also love stories about the reveal (less into 'hm I want to fuck my niece's hot teacher for some reason' stories). Lilith marrying Zelda to get her away from Faustus, Zelda and Lilith marrying in order for Zelda's status as her prophet to be legitimised. Feel free to use any of the songs from this fanmix as prompts.
Prudence/Sabrina: That queen-and-handmaiden dynamic at the Feast of Feasts is my dream, and I would die for more of it. I love stories about Prudence showing Sabrina the weird bits of the witch world that she didn't see/hear of growing up, and I love the capacity they have to magnify each other's cruelties despite or because of their best wishes.
General: This show has a thesis of 'why be a girl when you could be an eldritch horror instead' because it loves me, it really loves me. I love the bonds and the backstabbing and the love-through-horror, I love the changeling girls and the amount of respect it gives stories of self-creation. I love the contrast between the suffocating boarding-school atmosphere and the equally terrifying 'I would like to let the sky eat me' of the Rock and how that's reflected in the characters' emotional relationships. Permadeath of any of the requested characters is fine for this fandom, as is ambiguous/show-consistent explanations of what happened at the Rock. The show does so much excellent work with forests that probably want to eat you/nature which tries to eat you/nature which wants to crawl inside you and never come out and I want to see infinitely more of it!

Hester/Dianne: I mean, hatesex for always if you go porny, or any sort of emotionally manipulative sensuality. There's an odd undercurrent of 'why aren't you better' that they both have towards each other (and themselves) and I'd love a story that lives in the lovely-awful tangled knots they tie each other into, and the ways in which they can't quite bring themselves to wish they were more like the other. I'd love to see an AU where Dianne accompanies Hester to the Rock or one where Hester and Dianne moved and built a new school out of the ruins of the first Academy. Any sort of post-canon fic where Hester haunts Dianne in her new position. Hester and Dianne as Dark and Light-aligned Sith (respectively?) disagree over the running of their school, Hester and Dianne as fellow (rival?) Gentry. Hester helps Dianne adjust to the Australian Masquerade, and how it differs from the one in France. Any kind of dreamsharing, any AU where it's more explicit that Dianne manipulated Hester into going to the Rock and jumping.
Hester/Greta: Greta owes Hester a lot, and while she never goes to the lengths Hester did to keep her secrets (largely because Hester didn't care) I feel like they're both very aware Greta is on a very thin line there, and I'd love to see some exploration of that. I'd love something that leans in the loyalty kink - sexual or not, consensual or not (more dubiously consensual loyalty kink forever and ever). The whole ... we both know what the other isn't saying and why and we're both responding to that sort of conversation/mutual existence is so good, and I'd love more of it.
Hester/Miranda: I love how Miranda spends the whole series deconstructing Hester so deftly no one's quite sure what she's done til the very end. Maybe Hester sees Miranda at the Rock, maybe Miranda taunts her about Sara, maybe one of Hester's attempts to dress her up nicely backfires somehow. An extension of the punishment scene, especially one including Hester bandaging her hands afterwards instead of Irma and Marion, and the glorious emotional whiplash that could provoke. Miranda's space pirate crew blackmailing Hester's, Hester turning Miranda in a vampire AU.
Hester & Miranda & Sara: The Hester-Miranda in this can be as shippy or not as you feel like. Hester & Sara's cold war is one of my favourite things about the show, and I just want to see more of it with Miranda trapped in the middle, whether it's pre-series, missing scenes, or even post-series where they're ghosts haunting each other. I'd love to see them at the Rock together in some sort of canon-divergence, or pre-series fic about Sara first coming to the Academy and starting to become suspicious of Hester. More sneaking around, more disturbingly cheerful games, more races through the woods, just - more of them. Sara going to teacher!Marion in one of those AUs to try to convince her to turn against Hester. Sara is actually a thousand year old vampire in ten year old skin. Sith!Hester grooms Sara to be her apprentice but is unprepared for Sara's morals. Miranda and Sara trying and failing to protect each other from Hester - and arguably causing each others' deaths/in-show endings - is so endlessly fascinating
Greta/Marion: Secret relationship and mentorship problems, everything I love. Greta's so ambiguosly lost at the end, even more so than Marion and Miranda - does she ever find her way past the rock and into Marion's new world? What does that look like? Firsts - first meetings, first kisses, first times with various sex acts, first time a parent looks at those two teachers and wonders. Marion becoming a teacher at the Academy, either the mid-canon one or post-canon if Hester succeeded in building a new one, and what that might look like when Miranda and/or Irma are still lost, or perhaps she came back instead of Irma. Time loops where they try over and over to pass beyond the Rock together. One turning the other into a vampire. Sith AUs where they are going to find a way for Marion to be a Sith Lord that doesn't involve killing Greta ... right? (Or not, angsty betrayal also A++)
General: I have a mild preference for 'only Jyn and Cassian survived Scarif' AUs over 'everybody lived', but if you'd prefer the latter, go for it. I love it when Leia grows up in Padmé lives AUs whether they're Rebellion founder!Padmé ones or Sith Lady Padmé ones. Sith!Leia AUs that are also Jedi!Luke ones are good, as are Sith twins ones.

Jyn/Leia: Rebellion babes! they have such different reasons for being there, which of course makes me want missionfic - how do they deal with each others' wildly different tactics in the field? Or good old-fashioned sparring-leads-to-sex character smut. Or maybe Jyn survives and is Leia's (secret?) ally in the New Republic government, or maybe Leia tries to recruit her for the Resistance. Jyn finds out that the truth about Leia's father is going to be leaked (either how it happened in Bloodline or in an entirely different way), and takes it on herself to prevent that (by offering to marry her, With Conditions). Anything with these two butting heads but ultimately being (reluctantly) caring/protective of each other will be loved, but also .... feel free to embrace the potential for angst and the viciousness. Leia has it out for Jyn because her father was responsible for Alderaan's destruction. Jyn flips it around after the Vader reveal and punishes her. Dealing with the trauma of being connected to such loss - there's something about wounds in the Force there that I'd love to see explored. Imperial!Jyn marries Leia to try to subdue Alderaan, and feelings happen (or don't). Sith!Leia captures Jyn and convinces her marriage is a better choice than death. Sith!Leia/Imperial!Jyn as dark queens of Alderaan. (Sith!)Leia becomes addicted to the Force/using the Force and Jyn either struggles to cope or encourages her. Exploring a ghost/doomed ship on a mission, or perhaps the doomed ship is one of theirs, in a villains-win AU?
Jyn/Mon: Rebellion leaders and the girls they dress up to die is one of my absolute favourite dynamics, and I love how much Jyn pushes back against it and how studiously un-conflicted Mon has to present. I would love a reckoning after Jyn comes back from Scarif, one that never quite resolves over the years. How do they find breaking points in each other? What does it do to you, to know so intimately when and how someone will bend, especially when you're not even sure you like them? How does Jyn become, willingly or not, a part of Mon's new Republic, or how does she convince herself to leave?
Mon/Leia: I have a mentor/protege problem a light-year wide and they hit every single element of it. Part of me wants to think this ship lends itself well to mutual pining and secrecy - they're both at the top levels of Rebellion command, after all. But also part of me wants fancy accomplished political wives running the New Republic together, or Leia going to her old friend/lover for commiseration/oh-Maker-why-is-this-happening-again comfort when she starts thinking about forming the Resistance, and the inevitable bad end. I would also be interested in something a bit darker in their dynamic, like, is Leia being seen entirely as a Padmé-replacement? That would be super interesting to explore. Or a Dark Empress Padmé AU where Mon is trying to turn Leia to the Rebellion's side/Leia goes to Mon for comfort and help because she knows what her mother's doing is wrong? Sith!Mon and Leia as her apprentice, Mon an established Summer Court noble and Leia the newcomer threatening to dismantle things she's worked for, one sacrificing the other for the New Republic, via suicide missions or something else.
General: Any era, any alignment of the requested characters is fine. In canon-divergent AUs, I like smuggler!Qi'ra, Sith!Leia, and Rey as an eldritch creature/harbinger of death. If you're writing something post-TLJ, I DNW mention of Amilyn's death - have her be alive or just don't bring her up at all. Qi'ra/Rey: The could be a dream eldritch smuggling team - Qi'Ra picking Rey up from Jakku at some/any point - or something darker in an empire!Rey AU (I like 'Rae Sloane takes Rey from Jakku and raises her to be a Grand Admiral' AUs for Imperial!Rey, but if you have other thoughts, go for them!). Qi'ra finding a nearly-inhuman Rey who never met Jyn, some adventure where Rey's been Qi'ra's lieutenant for ages, Rey falling for the glamorous smuggler who may or may not be helping the Resistance. Shenanigans, finding belonging in crime, fun or angsty porn - take this where you like! In CtL AUs I enjoy Qi'ra as some Liz Malloy-type who's escaped her Keeper but enjoys sending Changelings and mortals back to them when it's convenient to her - perhaps she tries to return Changeling!Rey to Jakku? And feral Gangrel!Rey (Gangreyl) is always great in VtR ones. Rey is some kind of eldritch Force legend that Qi'ra thinks is a myth until she runs across her on a smuggling run, Rey finds the ruins of a Crimson Dawn stronghold being haunted by an improbably-alive Qi'ra.
Qi'ra/Jyn: Jyn ending up in Crimson Dawn hands and slowly coming to trust (or never coming to trust!) Qi'ra, adventures with smuggler!Qi'ra, especially if she keeps finding Jyn in more and more ridiculous predicaments. In worlds where Jyn survives Scarif and stays with the Rebellion, how and when does she run into Qi'ra (Rebellion leadership orders? Accident?). Undercover as a couple shenanigans, especially if Jyn hates it and Qi'ra is just thrilled she can dress her up (to die). Canonverse, their brands of cynicism are so different, and I cannot resist the thought of smashing them together (and making them fuck, if you feel so inclined).
Jyn/Rey: Lovely, lonely, angry desert babes - I feel like they'd have so much to bond over, and I'd love to see older survivor!Jyn with Rey, and how they slowly learn to trust & love each other. I like this with eldritch!Rey or Jedi!Rey and anything in between. Jyn come-back-wrong after Scarif is especially interesting in the former situation (accidental kyber crystal necromancy?) and Resistance!Jyn is especially great for the latter (Leia and/or the Force nudging them together). Haunted desert adventures, odd connections to the Force, all kinds of lonely angry encounters.
General: I've read Bloodline, Phasma, and Leia: Princess of Alderaan, seen Rebels and some of TCW, and play SWTOR & KOTOR2, but that's about as far as my canon or legends EU knowledge goes. Use/ignore elements of them as you wish, and if you borrow from elsewhere let me know so I know what to read next :D Force-sensitive Amilyn per Laura Dern's interview would be amazing, but also just the vaguely-witchy like in PoA is fine too. AUs where one or both of the twins were raised by Rebellion founder Padmé or Dark Empress/Sith Lord Padmé, or one or both of the twins are Sith/Jedi, are always gleefully accepted. I ship Rey/Kylo and Finn/Rose and am happy to see them as background relationships in compatible requests. Always-a-girl!Kylo is great in any fic where Kylo's plot-relevant. Amilyn/Leia: I love them. I love how much they love each other and I love how obvious it was even in less than five minutes of screentime. I want them to be happy together and I'd love something that speaks to the depth of their connection (or future depth, if you're writing them younger) - something set later in their lives after they've been together for a while, something earlier in their lives where they go 'oh, this is My Person' for the first time would be equally loved. Sexwise I prefer domme!Amilyn if you're playing with power dynamics but the other way around is good as well. In Sith!AUs, I'd love something exploring the darker side of the 'happiness is our moral imperative' line they kept repeating in PoA. If only one is Sith, explorations of how they try to bring the other to their side are wonderful. I'd love something that puts Amilyn in Leia's life during the Rebellion/inter-war/Bloodline period, I'd love something that's a post-Crait fixit (someone give Amilyn/Leia + Rey/Ben the small cottage in the Chandrilan woods away from everything painful that they deserve, alternately, someone let Amilyn and Leia have the 'I can't believe we just survived that' sex on the Falcon/next Resistance base that they also deserve), I'd love them co-parenting baby Ben while Han's off doing something else. Plotty missionfic - something involving sentient spaceships/eldritch places (the wound in the Force where Alderaan used to be, creepy lakes on Gatalenta, abandoned ships/bases) would be loved too.
Amilyn/Paige: I adore Poe-dies-instead-of-Paige AUs, but something pre-TLJ (missionfic, dreamsharing, weird planets, etc) or setting-change AUs (vampire Amilyn turning Paige, Amilyn (un)knowingly taking vampire siblings aboard) are also fabulous.
Amilyn/Rey: Rey's willingness to learn from everyone she meets is one of my favourite things about her, and I'm really curious what you think she would end up learning from Amilyn - or teach her in turn. Astrology stories, maybe, Rey telling Amilyn about the constellations she found there and seeing how the stories are connected to other ones across the galaxy. Grey Jedi or Sith Amilyn/Grey Jedi or Sith apprentice Rey. Rey gets to take a vacation on Gatalenta. Rey uses the Force to save Amilyn on the Supremacy.
Leia/Rey: Mentorship, pining, established relationship, getting together ... I love it all. I have special fondness for training fics, whether that's like an AU where Rey is Jedi!Leia's padawan and the two of them go on a reforming-the-Jedi-order quest or something post-Crait where Leia and Rey build lightsabers together. I also enjoy Leia introducing Rey to luxuries she didn't have on Jakku -- baths, nice clothes/lingerie, etc. I'm still lowkey mad Padmé's wardrobe got flung into hyperspace, and missionfic to recover it would be delightful. Dark AUs (Sith!Leia, Snoke's apprentice!Rey, etc) would be fabulous as well, whether they're both dark side Force users, or one is trying to convince the other to join them. I love Vampire AUs always but especially for these two, whether that's just general vampires or something that puts the Kindred into the SW verse.
General: (See above.) Feel free to add Finn to any of these to make an OT3/OT4, or pair him with Rose or Rey in the background of one of the two-person ships. F!Ben | Kylo always excellent even where not specifically requested. I'm 100% happy for either Ben or Kylo to be treated as gender-neutral names for f!Kylo, but if you want to change her name I'm fond of 'Breha'.

(Female) Kylo/Rey: Putting these together because ... look, Kylo's written and presented so androgenously anyway that nothing really changes between the two. This is the ship of my heart in a lot of really unexpected ways, and I love what it has to say about redemption and belief and our capability for survival ... and so I want terrible things to happen to them. I love force horrors and cosmic horrors and monster!Rey, and I love very subby Ben literally feeding himself to Rey because he loves her, I love Jedi!Ben vs Grand Empress!Rey. I love them as touch starved traumatised Changelings finding hope in each other and I love them as vampire lovers hunting the remnants of the First Order. Basically: deeply weird shit + devotion and I am happy!
Rose/Kylo: Enemy lovers or enemies to lovers are both excellent for this - any sort of facing eldritch horrors together while Kylo is Distinctly Unforgiven for what he's done (and knows it! and wants to be punished!) while Rose tolerates and maybe even has some affection for him because of Rey (and she's more than happy to punish him when he asks). Any sort of forced to work together or roleswap.
Rey/Rose/Kylo: Honestly - any of the above but with all three, and I will be so happy.
