trick or treat pt 2 - wip
Hello friend, it is Samhain and time for spooky things and I am so excited to see what you will write for me! If you want inspiration beyond this letter I am also ![[archiveofourown.org profile]](https://p.dreamwidth.org/b164c54b26e4/-/archiveofourown.org/favicon.ico)
kimaracretak, where I have a small but reflective-of-things-I-like set of bookmarks, and kimaracretak on 8tracks if you want #aesthetic musical inspiration.
I love these canons for the worldbuilding and mytharcs as well as their characters and relationships, and I am easy to please as long as you stay away from my DNWs (both general and canon-specific), so don't feel like you Have to write any of my specific prompts. Don't read anything into relative lengths of sections, I am equally happy to get something for anything in this letter! Some of these prompts are reused from old letters, and if you have written them for me before, rest assured that I loved your fic, I am simply greedy and would like to see every possible take on my favourite scenarios. A lot of my prompts are very horror-slanted, I suppose because it's August and I'm in the Samhaim Mood already, but if your muse is inclined to things less murderous, feel free!
I love everything from short introspection bits to long plotty missionfic to sex scenes as ways to explore character/setting/worldbuilding, and I don't need a lot of romance in my ships: sex for power, manipulation, or just between friends who want to have fun is also great. General: I've read most of the novels and have seen most of Crusade and have no strong feelings either way as to whether you use information/events from them or not. Anything you want to do incorporating the First Ones/weird fey space things is extra loved. Canon-divergence AUs are great, post-series fic is great. B5 was a really stunning take on not just war stories but people-in-war stories, and I love the plotty fics with complicated characters and dynamics that it lends itself to -- angst and darkfic and cosmic horror are all more than welcome here.
Fandom-specific DNW: Londo, any mention/implication of Londo/G'Kar, happy endgame Lyta/Byron (temporary/canon-level angst-and-messiness is fine)
Catherine: Oh man Catherine was GREAT and I want her to go on some more adventures! On alien planets, in hyperspace, hanging out in a bar swapping crazy stories with other surveyors, encounters with other First Ones or their artifacts. AUs where she, not Jeff, is Valen/his equivalent. I like Catherine/Jeff well enough and I certainly don't expect you to ignore it, but I'd rather not read something solely focussed on their relationship.
Delenn: Delenn was an early formative fave, and there's so much there about duty and honour and atonement and best-intentioned cruelties that I will never ever get tired of reading about. Her search for redemption treads an interesting line between genuine amends and masochism at times, and I love character pieces that play in that messy space. I'm especially interested in pre- and post-series fic for her - she lives for so long after everyone else is gone! Favourite gen and/or romantic and/or sexual ships for her are Lyta (the pain and guilt of turning someone into a sentient weapon!), G'Kar (the pain and guilt of knowing what you did to someone's people, and the burden of them still being willing to like and work with you!), and Susan (old tired leaders finding a life together After The War). You don't have to ignore Delenn/Sheridan, but as above I'd rather not have something that's Just Delenn/Sheridan shipfic.
Elizabeth Lochley: Look, idc what the general opinion on s5 is, Lochley was fantastic and deserves More. Pre-canon angst with Zoe, day-to-day bureaucratic troubles, being Delenn's lover in some AU where John died earlier on - just something that centres her, and I'll love it.
Lyta: Women who are weapons and the lengths they go to to try to find peace, I love. Special favourite Lyta stories are ones about her fucked up relationship with Delenn, season 5 AUs where she leaves Byron to go with Lochley when she's asked, anything about the telepath war, and some of her post-canon travels through the Rim with G'Kar.
Talia: This can be Talia or Control!Talia, I'm happy with either - or both! Stories where Control takes over more slowly, or more intermittently, and Susan has to deal with her lover's occasional amnesia and oddly shifting life outlook are really good. I like fics that lean into the horror of telepathy - it can be beautiful horror, but the malleable sense of self is super interesting to me.
General: Please refer to Lilith as Lilith (rather than Madam Satan) for fic from her POV/from the POV of people who know she's no longer Mary Wardwell. I like worldbuiling and pre-canon stories, especially stories about Lilith slowly siphoning witches away from Satan, stories where Sabrina (or Zelda, or the Weird Sisters) sign their name over to Lilith directly rather than into the Book of the Beast, and stories about centuries of history and the distinctly inhuman perceptions and desires of witches and demons. There's so many levels of glorious fucked-up obsessive mentorship here along with, you know, the gore and the deification-via-cannibalism and I love all of them. Murder + in-fic resurrection/came back wrong is fine for any of these prompts. If relevant, I ship pretty much any femslash that's not Hilda/Zelda, Edward/Zelda(/Lilith), and Prudence/Sabrina/Nick as the OT3 and any component pairs. Any of the prompts from my worldbuildingex letter would be awesome, as would any of the Lilith/Sabrina, Lilith/Zelda, or Edward/Zelda marrige freeforms from justmarried this year.
Lilith: Lilith-through-the-centuries fic! Fic about her creating demons and founding covens (and thinking about the occasionally very thin line between the two), adventures she has getting obscure corners of Hell under her control/on her side away from the Dark Lord, making friends and enemies. Has she taken other proteges besides Sabrina? What are her interactions like with other Churches outside of New England or the US like? Lilith femslash, with Zelda or Prudence or Sabrina or - surprise me! Anything that takes 'The Devil' by Gray Witch [bandcamp link with lyrics] as a prompt. Lilith mentoring Prudence and/or Dorcas and/or Agatha, Lilith visiting peoples' dreams, Lilith creating spells and demons, Lilith red-string-of-fate kiting Sabrina through more planeswalking adventures.
Prudence: I love Prudence and I want her to have the worldddddddd. Murdering her terrible father? Meeting her sisters for the first time? Using Nick as sexy furniture? Travelling the world as a prophet for Lilith's new world? Any sort of introspective/gen piece about the academic side of magic.
Zelda: Zelda's whole ... wanting to fuck not even necessarily her gods but like the entire concept of divinity is so MUCH, and I am obsessed with it and never tire of stories about it. Her life pre-canon, Hilda coming back Wrong from one of her murders and how Zelda copes with it, Zelda as Lilith's prophet or consort or both. I love her terrible decisionmaking and her stubborn over-the-top-ness and just want more of her.
General: I only vaguely keep up with the audio dramas, but feel free to incorporate however much of that canon as you want. Post-Mondas fix-its for Missy that don't involve her regenerating (or have her regenerating into Missy-again) are loved, but pre-Mondas fic is equally great. I like Time Lords using her telepathy and the sweeping glorious over-the-top-ness that characterises a lot of the show.
General: I like missionfic/casefic, especially for all the angst it gives post-Fall fic/preemptive angst it gives pre-Fall fics (I am entirely up to date on the canon), but they're not a requirement. For Amélie ships, I have no preference if fic is set when she's Amélie or Widowmaker or both, and I also don't have a preference for never-married-to-Gerard!AUs vs pining/infidelity/open marriage so - whatever works for your fic! If Mercy's relevant to your fic, I am happy to see dark!Mercy as well as Overwatch!Mercy. Leaning into the body horror aspects around Ana's missing eye encouraged (I have a special love for flowers growing in the empty eye socket, because, well, I'm me) but not required. Any AU based off any skins for the requested characters (e.g. witch!Mercy, pirate!Ana, comtesse!Amélie) is welcome even if I haven't specified the general version of that AU in my likes. If you want to address the age gaps in Ana ships, I really love how comfortable Ana is in her own skin, with her own age (even/especially her missing eye) and how that contrasts with her mixed feelings about what she's done, so anything that highlights that would be lovely.
Ana: I love Ana and I am deeply hard to disappoint here. Angsty introspection/adventures during her time living in the Necropolis? Unhealthy coping mechanism sex with Mercy during the last days of pre-Fall Overwatch? Chasing Widowmaker through the post-Fall world, trying (and failing?) to bring her back to the woman she used to be, maybe marrying her out of guilt? Joining Ashe's crew for a heist? Just ... Ana.
Amelie: I love her and she hurts my soul. The angst of her identity crisis, grasping for life via the taking of life, the memories she's starting to wonder if she really wants to forget.
Ashe: There can never be enough fic about Ashe and the creepy (creepysexy?) things in the desert. I'm fond of vampires, heists, and femslash, but beyond that, anything specific is up to you!
Sombra: Forced to grow up too fast, brilliant, manipulative, hardly even able to articulate that she's lonely ... I love her. I love that she's working with Talon just for her own sake, I love the ways in which she might run into D.Va - trying to help each other recover and realising too late they're doing the opposite. PWP with Ana? Vampire!AU with Ashe? Something else?
General: This book was so good to me, you guys. Underwater criminal cities! First Order lore! Politicking! Leia being tired and bitter and just wanting to go on An Adventure! Mercenary factions! Space fights! Bloodline was great for showing the wider bits of the GFFA, and I love all the potential for worldbuilding it opened up, especially Varish and the Lonerans and Carise and Arkanis. I'm deeply indifferent to Han/Leia, so if you'd like to write Leia/Carise or Amilyn/Leia(Carise) or Leia/Varish, feel free to kill him off/pretend they were never married/presume an open marriage/whatever you like.
Arliz: Complex villains Militia adventures! Imperial politics! Adventures with her brother, running into eldritch space horrors during her time as an Imperial pilot! I just love the idea of the smart hardworking military officer with a major flaw of being too trusting being a villain, and think she'd be a lot of fun to explore. If you feel like shipfic, I prefer her in ambiguously hatesexy relationships with Leia or Carise.
Carise: Ambitious vain ladyvillain of my whole heart! How did she get involved with founding the First Order? How did she get in contact with Hadrassian? I'd be interested to see how she fits into the FO power structure later on, especially with the military-political vs Force users conflict there. If you're writing post-TFA, what's her reaction to seeing the Senate that she worked in and for for so many years utterly obliterated? (I would assume she'd either have left the Senate by then or been conveniently off-planet). Any sort of hatesex with Leia, especially if it involves political manipulation or masquerade balls or Leia force-choking her. Carise in an AU where Leia is Sith or the Empire never fell.
Leia: I loved how the book centred Leia and her desire for adventure and I'd like something Bloodline-era for her, especially femslash or politics centric (favoured pairings for this era are Amilyn, Carise, or Varish, but feel free to surprise me!).
General: I didn't really enjoy seasons 4 & 5 of Atlantis, with the exception of Keller's presence and a couple bits of wraith lore, so would prefer nothing that relies too much on that part of canon. Fey things and sentient cities are love, old gods and half-gods and the promises and compromises made to survive in the Pegasus galaxy delight me. I'm not so much into the human-exceptionalism/campy-fun takes on the show. Canon-divergence AUs, especially Wraith Queen Teyla/Asuran Queen Elizabeth/Independent-from-Earth Atlantis, are love (all three in one fic or just one). Sentient Atlantis, whether as a worldbuilding detail or as a major plot point, will always make me happy. I love in-universe versions of the World of Darkness AUs - what is it like to be a Kindred in the Pegasus galaxy as opposed to on Earth? - or Stargate characters in the CtL versions of Arcadia/the Hedge/etc.
Elizabeth: Oh - I just want her alive. I'm emo about the ten thousand years she slept under the waves and the ways she shows her love for the city & the worlds of Pegasus. I'm emo about sentient Atlantis, about independent Atlantis, about potential friendship-somethingship with proud, lost Helia. I ship Elizabeth/Teyla and Elizabeth/Kate and Elizabeth/Vala in all versions of the world. I like city explorations and creepy things under the ocean and vampires and derelict ships and, yknow, All The Things, as long as Elizabeth's alive. I even like Asuran!Elizabeth, as long as she's not a dead frozen android floating in space. Just. Ladies! And adventures!
Kate: Kate's another one I'd adore any kind of came back wrong fix-it for, especially something that plays with dreams - oneiromancy, clawing her way back into the world via dreams (espeically Wraith- or Asuran-dreams). Creepy shipfic with Wraith!Teyla, or angsty we-shouldn't-be-doing-this-but-there's-no-one-else shipfic with Elizabeth. Something that digs into her role as single therapist to everyone, and the horror of so much Knowing (blind prophets are an A+ trope, so if you figure out some way to make Kate one, I'd love you forever).
Steve the Wraith: I am in general all about eldritch horror Wraith, and Steve brings such a hm, not quite mundane but definitely matter of fact side to that which I think would be super fun to explore.
Teyla: Wraith Queen Teyla! Any sort of Teyla, honestly, as long as it's not a perma-dead Teyla. Backstory, introspective pieces dealing with leadership/the Wraith. Post-siege reunions with Sora. Anything with Elizabeth, Kate, or both, especially if it's a come-back-wrong-and-no-longer-loves-her angst deal. Helping Sam adjust to Atlantis.
Todd the Wraith: Todd is a three-years-long existential crisis wrapped in a thin layer of snark and the Pegasus-equivalent of an iPod with a load of prog metal music and, yknow, caters directly to me in all ways! Wraith civil war fic, AU where Wraith!Teyla's his queen, some kind of Pegasus road trip with Sheppard. Todd eats Woolsey, for reasons (the reasons are Todd doesn't like Woolsey and I do like Wraith getting to Chomp). Cosmic horror Wraith, whether the Wraith Are the horror or are dealing with it.
General: I am happy for any book details to be used for extra worldbuilding, but where the books and games differ go with the games. I follow the Scoia'tael path in Witcher 1 and Iorveth's in Witcher 2 and ask that you take the events of those paths as canon for your fic's worldstate. If relevant, I also ship Geralt/Yaevinn and Geralt/Yennefer/Triss, and love Geralt & Philippa as surprisingly idealistic murderfriends. For Sheala fic, please assume Geralt saves her in 'Enter the Dragon'.
Fandom-specific DNW: Dandelion, sorceress-bashing, the events of non-Scoia'tael paths, Witcher 3-focussed stories, reducing Yen & Triss' dynamic to 'I don't like you because you stole my boyfriend'
Ida Emean: I love elves and sorceress witchy half-legend oracles and obviously therefore Ida was created to cater directly to me. I'd love to see a gameverse version of her reckoning with Enid over elvish states and elvish homes and Nilfgaardian orders, or Ida with anyone else from the Lodge - mentoring Yennefer or fighting with Triss. Or just lean into the academic/worldbuilding side of things and give me excerpts of books she's written, or something about what it means to be Aen Saevherne - how does one cope with so much knowing? I probably ship fucked-up Ida/Enid the most, but I would love to be surprised with any favourite Ida femslash you might have!
Iorveth: I love this asshole housecat and I want to spend more time with him! Off murdering with his Scoia'tael, running into Yaevinn or Toruvial, finding a moment's peace with Geralt, adventuring with Saskia, angsty introspection waiting for Saskia to wake up.
Philippa: Prophet-witches wreck me always and Philippa is no exception. I would like happiness for her, amongst the power plays and questionable morality of her world, but the shape of it is up to you. Tormenting Geralt? Dreaming of revenge? GETTING revenge? Philippa/Saskia is a thousand of my beloved tropes wrapped around two excellent ladies, whether it's spellbound dubcon or a clear-eyed alliance of equals, and I will never say no to it, or any other Philippa femslash. Manipulation and PWP with Cynthia? Plotty introspective politicking with Sheala? Friends with benefits ft betrayals that hurt more than they should with Yennefer? Yes. The answer is yes, I would like it.
Sabrina: I have received some really excellent fic about Sabrina's ghost teaming up with Geralt to kill Henselt, and you know what? There is no such thing as too much fic of that sort. Let me fave do some murders of terrible kings! Or tell me a story where she never died and leads her cult as a living saint, or one about pre-game times with her sisters in the Lodge. Tell me about politics and magic and how Sabrina gets everything she deserves.
Saskia: My beloved dragon! Tell me about her childhood, send her and Iorveth off on adventures together, write the story of her reconciliation with Philippa or the AU where she went along with Philippa willingly. For post-'Enter the Dragon' fic I don't have a preference whether Geralt lifts the curse or not.
Sheala: I love politics and plotting and tricksters and I fucking love Sheala. Assume Geralt saved her from the megascope in 'Enter the Dragon'. Whether she finds a moment of quiet with Philippa or bickers with Triss or you do something introspective about how she sees the Lodge I just want more of her.
Yaevinn: I ship Yaevinn/Geralt but gen with them or Yaevinn & [anyone else] gen is good as well, especially Yaevinn & Toruviel. He gets called a cynic a lot but honestly we meet him flopped in a glade with a bunch of druids reciting poetry and making flower crowns and like ... he is Murderously Soft, okay. I would like him to have a nice time in whatever you write whether that involves more poetry with Geralt or possibly murdering some Order of the Flaming Rose knights >:).
Yennefer: As is a theme with the sorceresses: I really fucking love Yen and I'm hard to disappoint. Pre-canon fic with the lodge is always excellent - Tissaia/Yen mentorshipfeelings: I have them, and am absolutely up for Lodge-era shipfic/AUs when Yen saves her post-Thanedd, or . I will go to my grave sobbing about Yenna, I'm a sorceress, please let me die with dignity, and would die for any sort of Sheala/Yennefer fix-it that doesn't gloss over the pain over recovery. Anything Triss/Yen, with or without Geralt.

Elizabeth Lochley: Look, idc what the general opinion on s5 is, Lochley was fantastic and deserves More. Pre-canon angst with Zoe, day-to-day bureaucratic troubles, being Delenn's lover in some AU where John died earlier on - just something that centres her, and I'll love it.
Lyta: Women who are weapons and the lengths they go to to try to find peace, I love. Special favourite Lyta stories are ones about her fucked up relationship with Delenn, season 5 AUs where she leaves Byron to go with Lochley when she's asked, anything about the telepath war, and some of her post-canon travels through the Rim with G'Kar.
Talia: This can be Talia or Control!Talia, I'm happy with either - or both! Stories where Control takes over more slowly, or more intermittently, and Susan has to deal with her lover's occasional amnesia and oddly shifting life outlook are really good. I like fics that lean into the horror of telepathy - it can be beautiful horror, but the malleable sense of self is super interesting to me.
General: Please refer to Lilith as Lilith (rather than Madam Satan) for fic from her POV/from the POV of people who know she's no longer Mary Wardwell. I like worldbuiling and pre-canon stories, especially stories about Lilith slowly siphoning witches away from Satan, stories where Sabrina (or Zelda, or the Weird Sisters) sign their name over to Lilith directly rather than into the Book of the Beast, and stories about centuries of history and the distinctly inhuman perceptions and desires of witches and demons. There's so many levels of glorious fucked-up obsessive mentorship here along with, you know, the gore and the deification-via-cannibalism and I love all of them. Murder + in-fic resurrection/came back wrong is fine for any of these prompts. If relevant, I ship pretty much any femslash that's not Hilda/Zelda, Edward/Zelda(/Lilith), and Prudence/Sabrina/Nick as the OT3 and any component pairs. Any of the prompts from my worldbuildingex letter would be awesome, as would any of the Lilith/Sabrina, Lilith/Zelda, or Edward/Zelda marrige freeforms from justmarried this year.
Lilith: Lilith-through-the-centuries fic! Fic about her creating demons and founding covens (and thinking about the occasionally very thin line between the two), adventures she has getting obscure corners of Hell under her control/on her side away from the Dark Lord, making friends and enemies. Has she taken other proteges besides Sabrina? What are her interactions like with other Churches outside of New England or the US like? Lilith femslash, with Zelda or Prudence or Sabrina or - surprise me! Anything that takes 'The Devil' by Gray Witch [bandcamp link with lyrics] as a prompt. Lilith mentoring Prudence and/or Dorcas and/or Agatha, Lilith visiting peoples' dreams, Lilith creating spells and demons, Lilith red-string-of-fate kiting Sabrina through more planeswalking adventures.
Prudence: I love Prudence and I want her to have the worldddddddd. Murdering her terrible father? Meeting her sisters for the first time? Using Nick as sexy furniture? Travelling the world as a prophet for Lilith's new world? Any sort of introspective/gen piece about the academic side of magic.
Zelda: Zelda's whole ... wanting to fuck not even necessarily her gods but like the entire concept of divinity is so MUCH, and I am obsessed with it and never tire of stories about it. Her life pre-canon, Hilda coming back Wrong from one of her murders and how Zelda copes with it, Zelda as Lilith's prophet or consort or both. I love her terrible decisionmaking and her stubborn over-the-top-ness and just want more of her.
General: I only vaguely keep up with the audio dramas, but feel free to incorporate however much of that canon as you want. Post-Mondas fix-its for Missy that don't involve her regenerating (or have her regenerating into Missy-again) are loved, but pre-Mondas fic is equally great. I like Time Lords using her telepathy and the sweeping glorious over-the-top-ness that characterises a lot of the show.
General: I like missionfic/casefic, especially for all the angst it gives post-Fall fic/preemptive angst it gives pre-Fall fics (I am entirely up to date on the canon), but they're not a requirement. For Amélie ships, I have no preference if fic is set when she's Amélie or Widowmaker or both, and I also don't have a preference for never-married-to-Gerard!AUs vs pining/infidelity/open marriage so - whatever works for your fic! If Mercy's relevant to your fic, I am happy to see dark!Mercy as well as Overwatch!Mercy. Leaning into the body horror aspects around Ana's missing eye encouraged (I have a special love for flowers growing in the empty eye socket, because, well, I'm me) but not required. Any AU based off any skins for the requested characters (e.g. witch!Mercy, pirate!Ana, comtesse!Amélie) is welcome even if I haven't specified the general version of that AU in my likes. If you want to address the age gaps in Ana ships, I really love how comfortable Ana is in her own skin, with her own age (even/especially her missing eye) and how that contrasts with her mixed feelings about what she's done, so anything that highlights that would be lovely.
Ana: I love Ana and I am deeply hard to disappoint here. Angsty introspection/adventures during her time living in the Necropolis? Unhealthy coping mechanism sex with Mercy during the last days of pre-Fall Overwatch? Chasing Widowmaker through the post-Fall world, trying (and failing?) to bring her back to the woman she used to be, maybe marrying her out of guilt? Joining Ashe's crew for a heist? Just ... Ana.
Amelie: I love her and she hurts my soul. The angst of her identity crisis, grasping for life via the taking of life, the memories she's starting to wonder if she really wants to forget.
Ashe: There can never be enough fic about Ashe and the creepy (creepysexy?) things in the desert. I'm fond of vampires, heists, and femslash, but beyond that, anything specific is up to you!
Sombra: Forced to grow up too fast, brilliant, manipulative, hardly even able to articulate that she's lonely ... I love her. I love that she's working with Talon just for her own sake, I love the ways in which she might run into D.Va - trying to help each other recover and realising too late they're doing the opposite. PWP with Ana? Vampire!AU with Ashe? Something else?
Star Wars: Bloodline - Claudia Grey
General: This book was so good to me, you guys. Underwater criminal cities! First Order lore! Politicking! Leia being tired and bitter and just wanting to go on An Adventure! Mercenary factions! Space fights! Bloodline was great for showing the wider bits of the GFFA, and I love all the potential for worldbuilding it opened up, especially Varish and the Lonerans and Carise and Arkanis. I'm deeply indifferent to Han/Leia, so if you'd like to write Leia/Carise or Amilyn/Leia(Carise) or Leia/Varish, feel free to kill him off/pretend they were never married/presume an open marriage/whatever you like.
Arliz: Complex villains Militia adventures! Imperial politics! Adventures with her brother, running into eldritch space horrors during her time as an Imperial pilot! I just love the idea of the smart hardworking military officer with a major flaw of being too trusting being a villain, and think she'd be a lot of fun to explore. If you feel like shipfic, I prefer her in ambiguously hatesexy relationships with Leia or Carise.
Carise: Ambitious vain ladyvillain of my whole heart! How did she get involved with founding the First Order? How did she get in contact with Hadrassian? I'd be interested to see how she fits into the FO power structure later on, especially with the military-political vs Force users conflict there. If you're writing post-TFA, what's her reaction to seeing the Senate that she worked in and for for so many years utterly obliterated? (I would assume she'd either have left the Senate by then or been conveniently off-planet). Any sort of hatesex with Leia, especially if it involves political manipulation or masquerade balls or Leia force-choking her. Carise in an AU where Leia is Sith or the Empire never fell.
Leia: I loved how the book centred Leia and her desire for adventure and I'd like something Bloodline-era for her, especially femslash or politics centric (favoured pairings for this era are Amilyn, Carise, or Varish, but feel free to surprise me!).
General: I didn't really enjoy seasons 4 & 5 of Atlantis, with the exception of Keller's presence and a couple bits of wraith lore, so would prefer nothing that relies too much on that part of canon. Fey things and sentient cities are love, old gods and half-gods and the promises and compromises made to survive in the Pegasus galaxy delight me. I'm not so much into the human-exceptionalism/campy-fun takes on the show. Canon-divergence AUs, especially Wraith Queen Teyla/Asuran Queen Elizabeth/Independent-from-Earth Atlantis, are love (all three in one fic or just one). Sentient Atlantis, whether as a worldbuilding detail or as a major plot point, will always make me happy. I love in-universe versions of the World of Darkness AUs - what is it like to be a Kindred in the Pegasus galaxy as opposed to on Earth? - or Stargate characters in the CtL versions of Arcadia/the Hedge/etc.
Elizabeth: Oh - I just want her alive. I'm emo about the ten thousand years she slept under the waves and the ways she shows her love for the city & the worlds of Pegasus. I'm emo about sentient Atlantis, about independent Atlantis, about potential friendship-somethingship with proud, lost Helia. I ship Elizabeth/Teyla and Elizabeth/Kate and Elizabeth/Vala in all versions of the world. I like city explorations and creepy things under the ocean and vampires and derelict ships and, yknow, All The Things, as long as Elizabeth's alive. I even like Asuran!Elizabeth, as long as she's not a dead frozen android floating in space. Just. Ladies! And adventures!
Kate: Kate's another one I'd adore any kind of came back wrong fix-it for, especially something that plays with dreams - oneiromancy, clawing her way back into the world via dreams (espeically Wraith- or Asuran-dreams). Creepy shipfic with Wraith!Teyla, or angsty we-shouldn't-be-doing-this-but-there's-no-one-else shipfic with Elizabeth. Something that digs into her role as single therapist to everyone, and the horror of so much Knowing (blind prophets are an A+ trope, so if you figure out some way to make Kate one, I'd love you forever).
Steve the Wraith: I am in general all about eldritch horror Wraith, and Steve brings such a hm, not quite mundane but definitely matter of fact side to that which I think would be super fun to explore.
Teyla: Wraith Queen Teyla! Any sort of Teyla, honestly, as long as it's not a perma-dead Teyla. Backstory, introspective pieces dealing with leadership/the Wraith. Post-siege reunions with Sora. Anything with Elizabeth, Kate, or both, especially if it's a come-back-wrong-and-no-longer-loves-her angst deal. Helping Sam adjust to Atlantis.
Todd the Wraith: Todd is a three-years-long existential crisis wrapped in a thin layer of snark and the Pegasus-equivalent of an iPod with a load of prog metal music and, yknow, caters directly to me in all ways! Wraith civil war fic, AU where Wraith!Teyla's his queen, some kind of Pegasus road trip with Sheppard. Todd eats Woolsey, for reasons (the reasons are Todd doesn't like Woolsey and I do like Wraith getting to Chomp). Cosmic horror Wraith, whether the Wraith Are the horror or are dealing with it.
General: I am happy for any book details to be used for extra worldbuilding, but where the books and games differ go with the games. I follow the Scoia'tael path in Witcher 1 and Iorveth's in Witcher 2 and ask that you take the events of those paths as canon for your fic's worldstate. If relevant, I also ship Geralt/Yaevinn and Geralt/Yennefer/Triss, and love Geralt & Philippa as surprisingly idealistic murderfriends. For Sheala fic, please assume Geralt saves her in 'Enter the Dragon'.
Fandom-specific DNW: Dandelion, sorceress-bashing, the events of non-Scoia'tael paths, Witcher 3-focussed stories, reducing Yen & Triss' dynamic to 'I don't like you because you stole my boyfriend'
Ida Emean: I love elves and sorceress witchy half-legend oracles and obviously therefore Ida was created to cater directly to me. I'd love to see a gameverse version of her reckoning with Enid over elvish states and elvish homes and Nilfgaardian orders, or Ida with anyone else from the Lodge - mentoring Yennefer or fighting with Triss. Or just lean into the academic/worldbuilding side of things and give me excerpts of books she's written, or something about what it means to be Aen Saevherne - how does one cope with so much knowing? I probably ship fucked-up Ida/Enid the most, but I would love to be surprised with any favourite Ida femslash you might have!
Iorveth: I love this asshole housecat and I want to spend more time with him! Off murdering with his Scoia'tael, running into Yaevinn or Toruvial, finding a moment's peace with Geralt, adventuring with Saskia, angsty introspection waiting for Saskia to wake up.
Philippa: Prophet-witches wreck me always and Philippa is no exception. I would like happiness for her, amongst the power plays and questionable morality of her world, but the shape of it is up to you. Tormenting Geralt? Dreaming of revenge? GETTING revenge? Philippa/Saskia is a thousand of my beloved tropes wrapped around two excellent ladies, whether it's spellbound dubcon or a clear-eyed alliance of equals, and I will never say no to it, or any other Philippa femslash. Manipulation and PWP with Cynthia? Plotty introspective politicking with Sheala? Friends with benefits ft betrayals that hurt more than they should with Yennefer? Yes. The answer is yes, I would like it.
Sabrina: I have received some really excellent fic about Sabrina's ghost teaming up with Geralt to kill Henselt, and you know what? There is no such thing as too much fic of that sort. Let me fave do some murders of terrible kings! Or tell me a story where she never died and leads her cult as a living saint, or one about pre-game times with her sisters in the Lodge. Tell me about politics and magic and how Sabrina gets everything she deserves.
Saskia: My beloved dragon! Tell me about her childhood, send her and Iorveth off on adventures together, write the story of her reconciliation with Philippa or the AU where she went along with Philippa willingly. For post-'Enter the Dragon' fic I don't have a preference whether Geralt lifts the curse or not.
Sheala: I love politics and plotting and tricksters and I fucking love Sheala. Assume Geralt saved her from the megascope in 'Enter the Dragon'. Whether she finds a moment of quiet with Philippa or bickers with Triss or you do something introspective about how she sees the Lodge I just want more of her.
Yaevinn: I ship Yaevinn/Geralt but gen with them or Yaevinn & [anyone else] gen is good as well, especially Yaevinn & Toruviel. He gets called a cynic a lot but honestly we meet him flopped in a glade with a bunch of druids reciting poetry and making flower crowns and like ... he is Murderously Soft, okay. I would like him to have a nice time in whatever you write whether that involves more poetry with Geralt or possibly murdering some Order of the Flaming Rose knights >:).
Yennefer: As is a theme with the sorceresses: I really fucking love Yen and I'm hard to disappoint. Pre-canon fic with the lodge is always excellent - Tissaia/Yen mentorshipfeelings: I have them, and am absolutely up for Lodge-era shipfic/AUs when Yen saves her post-Thanedd, or . I will go to my grave sobbing about Yenna, I'm a sorceress, please let me die with dignity, and would die for any sort of Sheala/Yennefer fix-it that doesn't gloss over the pain over recovery. Anything Triss/Yen, with or without Geralt.
