kimaracretak, where I have a small but reflective-of-things-I-like set of bookmarks, and kimaracretak on 8tracks if you want #aesthetic musical inspiration.
I love these canons for the worldbuilding and mytharcs as well as their characters and relationships, and I am easy to please as long as you stay away from my DNWs (both general and canon-specific), so don't feel like you Have to write any of my specific prompts. Don't read anything into relative lengths of sections, I am equally happy to get something for anything in this letter! Some of these prompts are reused from old letters, and if you have written them for me before, rest assured that I loved your fic, I am simply greedy and would like to see every possible take on my favourite scenarios. A lot of my prompts are very horror-slanted, I suppose because it's nearly Samhain and I'm in the mood already, but if your muse is inclined to things less murderous, feel free!
I love everything from short introspection bits to long plotty missionfic to sex scenes as ways to explore character/setting/worldbuilding, and I don't need a lot of romance in my ships: sex for power, manipulation, or just between friends who want to have fun is also great. General: I've read most of the novels and have seen most of Crusade and have no strong feelings either way as to whether you use information/events from them or not. Anything you want to do incorporating the First Ones/weird fey space things is extra loved. Canon-divergence AUs are great, post-series fic is great. B5 was a really stunning take on not just war stories but people-in-war stories, and I love the plotty fics with complicated characters and dynamics that it lends itself to -- angst and darkfic and cosmic horror are all more than welcome here.
Delenn/Anna Sheridan: I love Anna-was-always-the-Sheridan AUs - what changes if it was her instead of John? Identity porn/spy games with Shadow!Anna. Minbari worldbuilding, including arranged marriage for Reasons. Anna encounters Delenn on one of her trips before Earthforce Officially meets the Minbari ship and war breaks out.
Lyta/Elizabeth: I loved their potential in s5! Fucked up disasters on opposite sides of something neither is admitting is a war yet, not-not using each other as replacements. I like s5 AUs where Lyta returns from Down Below when Elizabeth asks, but something post-canon like reunions during the telepath war are also excellent.
Lyta Alexander/Talia Winters: I consider Lyta/Control!Talia to be covered by this tag, so if you want to write about Control post-s2, feel free! Lyta stages a rescue mission to get Control!Talia back. Garibaldi was always actually Control and Talia has to adjust to having another telepath on the station/they fight together during the Shadow War. Vorlon weirdness. Telepathic sex. Feel free to OT3 them with Susan.
Susan/Anna: Anna in John's place AUs, with some sort of gradual friends to lovers thing. Or go full Shadow!Anna and write some eldritch wartime body horror.
Talia/Kelsey: (Literal) mindfuck of a ship! I like telepathic control battles, fic about Control!Talia/Kelsey, and AUs where Kelsey takes Bester's place.
General: I only vaguely keep up with the audio dramas, but feel free to incorporate however much of that canon as you want. Post-Mondas fix-its for Missy that don't involve her regenerating are loved, but pre-Mondas fic is equally great. I like Missy using her telepathy and the sweeping glorious over-the-top-ness that characterises a lot of the show. I like moral greyness and (if the fic is Earth-set at any point) fic set in Scotland and Wales.
Missy/Clara: I love Clara infinitely, shes's an angry girl and a hundred angry ghosts all wrapped up together, and she's such a wonderful, reckless, compassionate foil for Missy. Any sort of time-paradox angst, any sort of hatesex, dreamsex, any version of Clara, threesomes with Thirteen? Just something dark and lovely.
Missy/Thirteen: Gods their entire ... chase you across the universe and all of time because I don't know how to live without you thing is SO MUCH, they're obsessed, I'm obsessed, Michelle and Jodie are both ridiculously hot. Let them continue to have their version of forever, please. I like weird time shenanigans and love in war and reckoning with your former selves and telepathic/honour bondage.

If you want to address the age gaps here, I really love how comfortable Ana is in her own skin, with her own age (even/especially her missing eye) and how that contrasts with her mixed feelings about what she's done, so anything that highlights that would be lovely.
Ana/Amélie:Not quite colleague-friend-lovers who can't quite kill each other, the best of the best who keep chasing after each other because there shouldn't be two of them but there are and an undeniable part of them loves it, aka the reason I fell into this game and this canon in the first place. But also, Brigitte has so many conflicted feelings about Overwatch and what the organisation did to her father and Ana's ... pretty much synonymous with Overwatch in a lot of ways, so I'd love to see them trying to work that out. Or something set a little into the future, where they get to build a post-war life together. Messy loyalty, missionfic, vampire AUs, things incorporating Egyptian and/or Swedish mythology - anything, everything.
Ana/Mercy: Rez is already lovingly bonkers video-game logic, so why not make it even more excellently eldritch: rez either requires or is equivalent to marriage, and Ana and Mercy find that out the hard way. Ana has a complicated relationship with death and Mercy has weird messy feelings about being devoted to Ana but also having the power to kill and bring her back, so I am super into edgeplay-to-the-edge-of-death with them - maybe it goes too far, resurrection and guilt and the somewhat-ambiguous sense of betrayal that seems to hang over them. Entirely magical witch!Mercy AUs are also great (I lived in that skin before All-Stars this year don't @ me it's perfect). But I also love softer h/c fics, and the just sort of - weary bonding that comes from having seen So Much Shit on the frontlines, realising the depth of their feelings during a mission and just being - hey, this really is an important person in my life, not just an important colleague. Bastet AU where Ana and Jack do go see Mercy, or one where Ana and Mercy started a relationship while Ana was the Shrike (up to you whether Mercy knew Ana's identity, in that case!).
Ana/Moira: Oh gods, they're so full of complicated angst, and so philosophically opposed to one another, but they fought sorta-together and that matters post-Fall (and imagine the extra angst when Ana's Overwatch colleagues find out who she shared the secret of her survival with!). I'd love to see stories of their time together pre-Fall too, though - trying to find common ground, knowing what's in between them, sleeping together anyway. If you want to go for porn - Ana's sleep darts getting put to creative sex-based use, sex as a way to try to bring the other around to one's side, post-fall but pre-recall 'anonymous' sex but only one knows the other's true identity. Battle adrenaline leading to sex (whether they're on the same/opposite sides). Ana's guilt over their secret relationship juxtaposed with Moira's total lack of care. Someone (preferably Amélie but I'm not picky as long as it's another female character) catches them. Moira comes back to Overwatch (or Ana somehow ends up with Talon) and they pledge their allegiance not to the organisation but to the other woman specifically. The Moira standing next to me in a spawn room once replied to Ana's idle 'if we stick together we will achieve the objective' with 'well THAT's an interesting hypothesis' and I would love to see something built around that exchange. Experiements with Moira's lifedrain/heal - Moira's callout when using life drain is 'tell me how this feels' and Ana has a Complicated(tm) relationship with death, and I want all the fucked-up ways in which they deal with (or, yknow, don't deal) with that.
Ana/Sombra: Sombra's not loyal to Talon for reasons beyond self-preservation, and I'd love to see Ana trying to exploit that somehow. 5+1 times they didn't mean to end up in bed together? Trying to seduce the other away from their respective organisations? Biotic/cybernetic engineering nerdery? One or both is a vampire.
Amélie/Mercy: Mm, the guiltship >:) Mercy is miserable about her failure to save Amélie, Amélie is miserable because she doesn't remember being Amélie, and I'm happy! Talon!Mercy creating the Widowmaker, or Mercy infiltrating Talon to bring her back.
Ashe/Sombra: I looove vampire AUs and weird things in the desert stories. Heistfic, Talon!Ashe fic, everything's good!
Sombra/Mercy: Enemies forced to work together, or enemy lovers.
Sombra/D.Va: Women who were forced to grow up far too fast with excellent tech/mechanic skills, yes please! I don't really have specific prompts for them, write what you like! I like this ship as either a 'trying to help each other recover and realising too late that they're doing the opposite' sort of thing or as a genuine Same Trauma bonding.
General: I love the Rihannsu books, how vast and weird they are and how the aliens are truly alien. Anything that leans into the world of the Rihannsu, and Duane's Star Trek vision more generally, is awesome.
Ael/Uhura: Starfleet Intelligence!Uhura helping Ael's regime with something, Uhura as ambassador to Ael's Empire, language nerdery. I just want them to have some time together!
General: I didn't really enjoy seasons 4 & 5 of Atlantis, with the exception of Keller's presence and a couple bits of wraith lore, so would prefer nothing that relies too much on that part of canon. Fey things and sentient cities are love, old gods and half-gods and the promises and compromises made to survive in the Pegasus galaxy delight me. I'm not so much into the human-exceptionalism/campy-fun takes on the show. Canon-divergence AUs, especially Wraith Queen Teyla/Asuran Queen Elizabeth/Independent-from-Earth Atlantis ones, are love (all three in one fic or just one). Sentient Atlantis, whether as a worldbuilding detail or as a major plot point, will always make me happy. I love in-universe versions of World of Darkness AUs - what is it like to be a Kindred in the Pegasus galaxy as opposed to on Earth? - or Stargate characters in the CtL versions of Arcadia/the Hedge/etc.
Elizabeth/Teyla: I love anything that lets them be co-rulers of Atlantis, whether they're both human and things are (relatively) normal, or if they're less beatific Wraith/Asuran queens. I'm happy with basically anything that lets them adventure together - slice of life fic (negotiating a trade agreement, exploring new parts of the city, etc), or thorny politics, or anything like that. I love how equally matched they are and how willing they are to learn from each other, and I'd especially love that in AUs where there's Wraith/Asuran politics complicating things, or they're trying to build a new society independent from Earth (declared independence and just-never-reconnected are both good!). I'd love for a missionfic sort of thing - a WEIRD DERELICT SHIP (space or ocean) is found! A WEIRD SKELETON is found! Vampires are found! Elizabeth and Teyla are on the run from some alien law officers who thought they were a couple of pirates (they are both a couple AND pirates). Cultural worldbuilding of any sort is also always great. For CtL AUs, perhaps Pegasus races are True Fae, or perhaps Elizabeth & Teyla are leaders of separate motleys that need to ally against the Wraith-equivalent True Fae.
Teyla/Kate: They're such a good pairing for exploring Wraith lore with! Here especially I'd love Wraith Queen Teyla, maybe somehow going canon-divergent after 'The Dream'. Or cautious early bonding - I love both Athosian and Lantean worldbuilding. Kate gets lost in a flooded section of the city and Teyla - or perhaps just something wearing Teyla's face - rescues her. Teyla and Kate rescue Elizabeth. The Athosians found the city first, and Kate can't help but grow close to their leader.

Ana has a complicated relationship with death and Mercy has weird messy feelings about being devoted to Ana but also having the power to kill and bring her back, so I am super into edgeplay-to-the-edge-of-death with them - maybe it goes too far, resurrection and guilt and the somewhat-ambiguous sense of betrayal that seems to hang over them. Entirely magical witch!Mercy AUs are also great (I lived in that skin before All-Stars this year don't @ me it's perfect). But I also love softer h/c fics, and the just sort of - weary bonding that comes from having seen So Much Shit on the frontlines, realising the depth of their feelings during a mission and just being - hey, this really is an important person in my life, not just an important colleague. Bastet AU where Ana and Jack do go see Mercy, or one where Ana and Mercy started a relationship while Ana was the Shrike (up to you whether Mercy knew Ana's identity, in that case!).
Ana/Moira: Oh gods, they're so full of complicated angst, and so philosophically opposed to one another, but they fought sorta-together and that matters post-Fall (and imagine the extra angst when Ana's Overwatch colleagues find out who she shared the secret of her survival with!). I'd love to see stories of their time together pre-Fall too, though - trying to find common ground, knowing what's in between them, sleeping together anyway. If you want to go for porn - Ana's sleep darts getting put to creative sex-based use, sex as a way to try to bring the other around to one's side, post-fall but pre-recall 'anonymous' sex but only one knows the other's true identity. Battle adrenaline leading to sex (whether they're on the same/opposite sides). Ana's guilt over their secret relationship juxtaposed with Moira's total lack of care. Someone (preferably Amélie but I'm not picky as long as it's another female character) catches them. Moira comes back to Overwatch (or Ana somehow ends up with Talon) and they pledge their allegiance not to the organisation but to the other woman specifically. The Moira standing next to me in a spawn room once replied to Ana's idle 'if we stick together we will achieve the objective' with 'well THAT's an interesting hypothesis' and I would love to see something built around that exchange. Experiements with Moira's lifedrain/heal - Moira's callout when using life drain is 'tell me how this feels' and Ana has a Complicated(tm) relationship with death, and I want all the fucked-up ways in which they deal with (or, yknow, don't deal) with that.
Ana/Sombra: Sombra's not loyal to Talon for reasons beyond self-preservation, and I'd love to see Ana trying to exploit that somehow. 5+1 times they didn't mean to end up in bed together? Trying to seduce the other away from their respective organisations? Biotic/cybernetic engineering nerdery? One or both is a vampire.
Amélie/Mercy: Mm, the guiltship >:) Mercy is miserable about her failure to save Amélie, Amélie is miserable because she doesn't remember being Amélie, and I'm happy! Talon!Mercy creating the Widowmaker, or Mercy infiltrating Talon to bring her back.
Ashe/Sombra: I looove vampire AUs and weird things in the desert stories. Heistfic, Talon!Ashe fic, everything's good!
Sombra/Mercy: Enemies forced to work together, or enemy lovers.
Sombra/D.Va: Women who were forced to grow up far too fast with excellent tech/mechanic skills, yes please! I don't really have specific prompts for them, write what you like! I like this ship as either a 'trying to help each other recover and realising too late that they're doing the opposite' sort of thing or as a genuine Same Trauma bonding.
General: I love the Rihannsu books, how vast and weird they are and how the aliens are truly alien. Anything that leans into the world of the Rihannsu, and Duane's Star Trek vision more generally, is awesome.
Ael/Uhura: Starfleet Intelligence!Uhura helping Ael's regime with something, Uhura as ambassador to Ael's Empire, language nerdery. I just want them to have some time together!
General: I didn't really enjoy seasons 4 & 5 of Atlantis, with the exception of Keller's presence and a couple bits of wraith lore, so would prefer nothing that relies too much on that part of canon. Fey things and sentient cities are love, old gods and half-gods and the promises and compromises made to survive in the Pegasus galaxy delight me. I'm not so much into the human-exceptionalism/campy-fun takes on the show. Canon-divergence AUs, especially Wraith Queen Teyla/Asuran Queen Elizabeth/Independent-from-Earth Atlantis ones, are love (all three in one fic or just one). Sentient Atlantis, whether as a worldbuilding detail or as a major plot point, will always make me happy. I love in-universe versions of World of Darkness AUs - what is it like to be a Kindred in the Pegasus galaxy as opposed to on Earth? - or Stargate characters in the CtL versions of Arcadia/the Hedge/etc.
Elizabeth/Teyla: I love anything that lets them be co-rulers of Atlantis, whether they're both human and things are (relatively) normal, or if they're less beatific Wraith/Asuran queens. I'm happy with basically anything that lets them adventure together - slice of life fic (negotiating a trade agreement, exploring new parts of the city, etc), or thorny politics, or anything like that. I love how equally matched they are and how willing they are to learn from each other, and I'd especially love that in AUs where there's Wraith/Asuran politics complicating things, or they're trying to build a new society independent from Earth (declared independence and just-never-reconnected are both good!). I'd love for a missionfic sort of thing - a WEIRD DERELICT SHIP (space or ocean) is found! A WEIRD SKELETON is found! Vampires are found! Elizabeth and Teyla are on the run from some alien law officers who thought they were a couple of pirates (they are both a couple AND pirates). Cultural worldbuilding of any sort is also always great. For CtL AUs, perhaps Pegasus races are True Fae, or perhaps Elizabeth & Teyla are leaders of separate motleys that need to ally against the Wraith-equivalent True Fae.
Teyla/Kate: They're such a good pairing for exploring Wraith lore with! Here especially I'd love Wraith Queen Teyla, maybe somehow going canon-divergent after 'The Dream'. Or cautious early bonding - I love both Athosian and Lantean worldbuilding. Kate gets lost in a flooded section of the city and Teyla - or perhaps just something wearing Teyla's face - rescues her. Teyla and Kate rescue Elizabeth. The Athosians found the city first, and Kate can't help but grow close to their leader.
