the single redeeming thing about spring

In terms of spring being a set of months with almost nothing to recommend them spring has been here for At Least two weeks. But it is March now, and spring of a more calendar-sort, which means b2mem / Back to Middle Earth Month gets its shot at redeeming spring. This year's themes are about music and water, which means rivers and oceans and lakes that want to eat you, which means (obviously) Goldberry femslash, and maybe some other things.

Is a drabble-a-day-and-perhaps-some-other-things goal too ambitious given my dissertation and my descent into Star Wars? Yes. Am I setting it anyway? Also yes, because self-control is fake. Anyway, come play etc etc.
