fic top threes meme
Stolen from everywhere, as per usual. I did one version for my AO3 fics (320, currently) and one for my Dreamwidth ones (229). There's obviously overlap between the two, Dreamwidth is the only place where my post-June 2023 fics live, and AO3 has exchange stuff and generally older stuff. I've also left out umbrella/category tags, stuff like 'Star Wars - All Media Types' since I tag that for discoverability rather than my own organisation.
AO3 stats (

2. What are your top 3 fandoms?
Critical Role (Web Series) (47)
Star Wars Sequel Trilogy (41)
The Silmarillion and other histories of Middle-Earth - J. R. R. Tolkien (18)
3. What are the top 3 characters you’ve written about?
Keyleth (Critical Role) (25)

4. What are your 3 top pairings?
Rey/Ben Solo | Kylo Ren (12)
Amilyn Holdo/Leia Organa (11)
Keyleth/Raishan (Critical Role) (8)
5. What are your top 3 additional tags?
Alternate Universe - Canon Divergence (28)
Post-Canon (27)
Horror (25)
6. Did any of this surprise you? e.g. who your top character turned out to be.
Bit surprised by how high up there General Audiences as a rating still is - rationally I know it's because I adopted my 'I don't rate anything lower than Teen' policy not that long before I stopped posting much to AO3, and a lot of my earlier stuff (which tends to be what's still on AO3) was probably rated G, but it's still a little funny to see. I'm not sure that Reylo ship count is correct because of how the Ben and Kylo tags are split up. A little surprised 'Horror' is that low, but that might be down to what I've crossposted + deleted and/or tag syns. Initially surprised there's no sex-related tags in #5, given the 79 M-rated fics, but I suppose I don't tend to tag individual sex acts unless it's something like
femslash_kink where that's what was matched on.

I've gone through and added capitalisation + last names to these since all of my comm tags are first name only for relationships + in all lowercase because I think it looks nicer and I do what I want.
1. What rating do you write most fics under?
Hah, I don't tag for ratings here. I list them in the post header, because it seems ... expected, I guess? But I don't find ratings super informative overall - and I'm tired of stuff like people complaining that an E-rated fic doesn't have sex in it when there's loads of explicit violence tags and no real indication sex would happen. I sorta wish when I'd started the crosspost project I'd just used a Teen/Explict division but that's ... a lot of posts to go back and edit when I'm not even done the crossposting ...
2. What are your top 3 fandoms?
Star Wars Sequels [25]
Critical Role [11] + Overwatch [11]
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina [9]
3. What are the top 3 characters you've written about?
Leia Organa [15]
Ana Amari [9]
Chrissie Read [6]
+ Original Characters [8] is also up there, but that's a category so I'm not technically counting it
4. What are your 3 top pairings?
Amilyn Holdo/Leia Organa [5] + Chrissie Read/Rosa Fallows [5]
Ana Amari/Widowmaker [4] + Elizabeth Weir/Teyla Emmagen [4] + Lilith/Zelda Spellman [4]
+ there are a lot at 3 fics each, but this is probably long enough
5. What are your top 3 additional tags?
Horror [35]
Character Study [29]
Body Horror [28]
+ Nature That Wants To Eat You [23] as a bonus fourth because lbr horror is an umbrella the way i tag things here lololol
6. Did any of this surprise you? e.g. who your top character turned out to be.
I do find it a bit hilarious that when left to my own devices I will come up with funny little theme tags (nature that wants to eat you) or use song lyrics (what i do in my dreams to you) but overall the most accurate way to sum up most of what I write is 'horror'. I'd lowkey forgotten I'd written that much CAOS, especially considering I ended up watching less than half the show. It is deeply obvious that I've de-prioritised crossposting Tolkien and Star Trek stuff since I'm on single-fandom archives for both of those.
I was hoping this would help me decide what to crosspost next (I should probably finish either Overwatch or Killing Eve fics, really) but it did not! I shall end with the question that some versions of this added on:
