Who can prompt?
Anyone. Anon is on, IP logging is off, I reserve the right to turn it back on for anon comments if the need arises.

What can I prompt?
Any / relationship between two or more canonically female characters, from any fictional canon(s).

How many prompts can I leave?
As many as you like, but each prompt must be its own comment.

Are crossovers allowed?
Yes. Your prompt should make it clear which canons you're requesting, and which characters belong to which canons.

Is RPF allowed?
Nope. Fictional canons only. [ETA: Now with better phrasing]

What about original works?
Nope. Original female characters from any fandoms are more than welcome, though, in the form of '[Fandom] -[Canon character]/OFC' or '[Fandom] - OFC/OFC' prompts.

Is there an underage policy?
Prompt whatever you like. However, sexually explicit fills involving characters under the age of 16 need to be posted elsewhere and linked.

Do fills have to be fic?
No! Fanart, fanmixes, podfic (new or with the original author's permission), or pictures of your lovingly-crocheted Rey and Phasma dolls murdering each other are all great too.

Are there minimum requirements for fills?
I mean, five words is probably too short to answer a prompt, but no I'm not going to be checking minimums (or maximums).

What makes fanworks dark?
I am borrowing darkestnightex's defintion, and saying it is "anything that deals with disturbing, violent, and/or depressing themes." Sexy body horror, gory murder, psychological manipulation, noncon, extreme angst, etc are all fair game.

But that means there'll be problematic fic here!
Yes, that's the point, now, now take responsibility for your own internet life and go be somewhere else.

Yeah, but February starts on a Friday and the past few Friday nights have involved me passing out on my keyboard mid-Overwatch match, not having the brain to post a ficathon. Time is fake. Make dark femslash.

Does this close at the end of February?
I mean theoretically but also this is me and I am fundamentally opposed to doing things that decrease the likelihood of there being more dark femslash in the world, so comments will remain open for prompts/fills forever until next February when I'll make a round 2 post.

Arilynn's back arched as she made Meg-Ryanesque noises like some kind of stereotype, and she wasn't going to bother dwelling on that embarrassment.
And Tasha didn't stop. If she'd decided Arilynn needed her mind off that space cult and its texts, she'd chosen the right weapon. Of course, with TAsha, everything was a weapon, but eventually, she wielded her tongue so well that Arilynn wasn't thinking about her could-she-say-girlfriend's tragic backstory, either. Certainly not by the end of these efforts.

And so Arilynn was feeling raw and hazy and senseless when she muttered, "Mmm, I love you."

It took her a little while to realize she'd said it out loud.

It took her a little more to realize they weren't having an argument about it.

No sudden pause. No Tasha gravely looking her in the eye and asking her not to. No twisted discussion of what decades of deprivation of bodily autonomy or personal boundaries did, and why a civilian would need to not emotionally entangle herself too far in someone who'd been through something that dehumanizing. No solemn explanation of preferring not to lose Arilynn's company by having to cut her off for her own good. No very, very quiet "...it's not like you're a mark, Arilynn."

The beautiful woman who was, by all appearances, Natasha Romanoff had taken Arilynn's careless admission in good enough humor to roll over and go to sleep.

And Arilynn lay in bed, fingernails digging into her hands as silent tears of rage fell.

(First of all I would like one zillion fills for this prompt, please and thank you. Secondly, this fandom doesn't have a lot of "characterization" so these are essentially OCs from two of the different alien species.)

The breach rocked the shields room, and Rymal crouched on her forelimbs to pick up Hadde. She had envied the Engi's dexterity, once, when the engines had hummed to life or sparks flew from the hacking system under Hadde's keen eye. Rymal was delegated to door patrol, clawing any Rock or stupid human who came by.

But she would not complain again, not if her speed could guide Hadde through the crumbling Mobius.

"We'll get you to the medbay," she pledged. "Hold on."

"Can't," Hadde gasped. She had taken down a Zoltan with little more than the wrenches on the control panel, but his dying burst of energy left her reeling. "No air--flushed out--"

Of course. There were too many of the Zoltans, and Captain Luut had tried to suffocate the ones nearest the outer doors.

"Go," Hadde urged. "Breach--"

Really, of all times to berate the Mantis for not being agile enough to seal a broken room. "I won't leave you."

Hadde stared up at her, as defiant as she'd been the day they'd rescued her from the Slug slavers. The Mobius' beam weapons, halfway through disintegrating the ship, had been frozen by some trick of superluminal physics Rymal didn't understand, when the captain signalled his surrender.

Luut had deliberated. They were low on fuel and still several jumps away from getting out of the nebula. If they had ignored the hails, fought till their enemies perished, at least they could have gotten some valuable scrap out of it. You couldn't sell Engi.

Well, you could. But that made you a slaver.

"It won't be easy," Luut had said, pointing Hadde to the shields room. "The rebels are after us. And ahead of us. And pretty much everywhere for the next four sectors."

"You think I'd prefer to be a slave, having to staff the weapons to shoot ships like yours down?" she'd replied, and that had settled it.

She did not speak much of her past. Only when they jumped into the abandoned sector, and the strange, haunting melodies of the Lanius fleet had greeted them from a distance, and Rymal had wondered how the strange creatures managed to evolve.

"I knew one," Hadde said. "On the Plasma Surge. They kept him locked up."

"I would think." said Rymal.

"Far away from us," Hadde went on, witheringly. "Secured with blast doors."

"So he wouldn't escape? That seems sensible." Could a Lanius survive being ejected into space? Would they find one just drifting by, hungering for scrap?

"So he wouldn't suffocate us." There are fates worse than death, Rymal heard, and did not ask again.

It was in the medbay that they got to know one another. After the battles, when Rymal was wounded from intruders and Hadde from their enemies' lasers, they would slowly heal and reminisce. Hadde was fascinated by the scans of the rebel flagship; Rymal, by the sleek circuits of Hadde's lower limbs.

"When we have enough scrap," Luut said, as if they would ever have enough scrap, "I'll upgrade the medbay. No dilly-dallying."

"I don't mind," they had both blurted, and then glanced at each other with embarrassment and delight.

Sometimes Luut would order Rymal to repair the shields, between recuperating and re-deploying. "She's so slow," Hadde would whine.

"When we're in the middle of battle you can do it," Luut said. "Rymal's the one who needs the practice."

So Hadde remained outside, explaining in mind-numbing detail the function of each of the shield components. Rymal sometimes intercommed back exactly where she fantasized about placing the wrenches, until Luut politely coughed and reminded them that the intercom was shipwide.

The Federation had no policies on fraternization. War was terrifying enough, and nebulas boring enough, that anything that made service slightly more tolerable was worth it. Besides, ranks were a formality when Luut could be vaporized any day, and someone else might need to step up and pilot them onward.

"Doors aren't a priority," Hadde whispered. "You'll take shields now..."

"Save your breath," Rymal urged.

"Have I ever projected wrong?" She was teasing, even then, but wistful too.

Hadde was tired of fighting, had been for a long time. Rymal could grant her that and not disagree at the last, even in the name of hope.

She wished she knew more of the Engi--did they have rituals, religions like the old Rock gods? They were forged of metal, yet they still breathed air.

So she merely folded her hands beneath Hadde's silver form, a gesture that human ambassadors said symbolized reverence. Hadde's eyes met hers, gray and focused, and then went blank.

Much later, Rymal waited in the medbay, ignoring whatever Luut said over the intercom as the med-bots patiently knit her legs back together. She may have been slow of hand, but the Mobius would need her to be as strong as she could before she returned to the shields room and tried to heal the breach.
