femslash after dark 2019: space edition
Hello friend, it is time for dark and/or pornt femslash and I am so excited to see what you will write for me! If you want inspiration beyond this letter I am also ![[archiveofourown.org profile]](https://p.dreamwidth.org/b164c54b26e4/-/archiveofourown.org/favicon.ico)
kimaracretak, where I have a small but reflective-of-things-I-like set of bookmarks, and kimaracretak on 8tracks if you want #aesthetic musical inspiration.
I've by and large chosen canons I love for their worldbuilding and mytharcs as well as their characters and relationships, and I am easy to please as long as you stay away from my DNWs (both general and canon-specific), so don't feel like you Have to write any of my specific prompts. Don't read anything into relative lengths of sections, I am equally happy to get something for anything in this letter! Some of these prompts are reused from old letters, and if you have written them for me before, rest assured that I loved your fic, I am simply greedy and would like to see every possible take on my favourite scenarios.
I don't mind if the M/E rating is for smut or dark themes (both is very very good). I love everything from short introspection bits to long plotty missionfic to sex scenes as ways to explore character/setting/worldbuilding, and I don't need a lot of romance in my ships: sex for power, manipulation, or just between friends who want to have fun is also great. Please no unrequested ships unless specifically allowed for, but feel free to combine any compatible ones from my requested ones.

General: Please refer to Lilith as Lilith (rather than Madam Satan) for fic from her POV/from the POV of people who know she's no longer Mary Wardwell. I like worldbuiling and pre-canon stories, especially stories about Lilith slowly siphoning witches away from Satan, stories where Sabrina (or Zelda, or the Weird Sisters) sign their name over to Lilith directly rather than into the Book of the Beast, and stories about centuries of history and the distinctly inhuman perceptions and desires of witches and demons. There's so many levels of glorious fucked-up obsessive mentorship here along with, you know, the gore and the deification-via-cannibalism and I love all of them. Murder + in-fic resurrection/came back wrong is fine for any of these prompts.
Agatha/Sabrina: The murder made me ship it, I have simple story loves and 'I am going to kill and resurrect youBECAUSE I CAN for the greater good which maybe isn't actually that good' is super high on that list! I would love more of the fallout from that, Agatha being distinctly Something Else even after the necromancy ritual was theoretically cancelled - maybe even something that has her own plans for how the Dark Lord should be overthrown. I'd also love something that digs into the academic side of witchery for them - creating spells, giving old rituals new weight, Agatha teaching Sabrina.
Lilith/Prudence: Prudence deserves a better authority figure than Faustus, and she and Lilith both know it. Anything about Lilith seducing Prudence away from the Church of Night/Academy, showing her true power, or anything about Queen of Hell!Lilith with Prudence as her priestess, or anything post-s2. Prudence has such a steady, sincere sort of faith, and while I think she definitely has that faith in Lilith as well, it would be interesting to see how it collides with Lilith's rather more chaotic plans.
Lilith/Sabrina: I am 100% convinced that Sabrina's crush on the original Mary Wardwell was a factor in Lilith's choice of person to possess. She wants Sabrina, and she wants Sabrina to be her, and Sabrina is? Entirely okay with that? The implication of 'Lilith takes over the Dark Lord's place and Sabrina takes over Lilith's' is really obviously going to a consort-to-the-queen-of-hell!Sabrina place? Lilith stares at Sabrina like she's the most fascinating thing she's ever seen? Sabrina thinks Lilith is the only person in the world who understands her? Lilith red-string-of-fate kited Sabrina through mortal purgatory? The soundtrack underlines their scenes with phrases like If I had a heart I would love you? This picture exists? This ship is tailor-made for me IN CANON and I don't know what to do with myself about it! S1 was super heavy-handed with the 'turning sixteen is basically equivalent to marrying Satan' imagery, so basically - that, but with Lilith instead! Possession rituals, blood magic, the literal entire forest dressing Sabrina up to meet her queen-of-Hell bride.
Lilith/Zelda: Oh man this ship is such a glorious mess of feelings about embodiment and apotheosis and pride and praise and I am dead, and cordially invite you to be dead with me! Zelda's whole … wanting to fuck not even necessarily her gods but like the entire concept of divinity is so MUCH, and Lilith is absolutely amused by it. I love fics that get into how wildly other Lilith is as a demon queen, how her perceptions of desire and bodies would differ. Praise kink, competency kink - Zelda has a hard time admitting even to herself how desperate she is to prove herself, and I totally see Lilith granting or witholding praise just to see what she can make Zelda do, what she can make Zelda admit she wants. I have some preference for fics set after Zelda knows Lilith's true identity, but I also love stories about the reveal (less into 'hm I want to fuck my niece's hot teacher for some reason' stories). Lilith marrying Zelda to get her away from Faustus, Zelda and Lilith marrying in order for Zelda's status as her prophet to be legitimised. Feel free to use any of the songs from this fanmix as prompts.
Prudence/Sabrina: That queen-and-handmaiden dynamic at the Feast of Feasts is my dream, and I would die for more of it. I love stories about Prudence showing Sabrina the weird bits of the witch world that she didn't see/hear of growing up, and I love the capacity they have to magnify each other's cruelties despite or because of their best wishes.
General: I only vaguely keep up with the audio dramas, but feel free to incorporate however much of that canon as you want. Post-Mondas fix-its for Missy that don't involve her regenerating are loved, but pre-Mondas fic is equally great. I like Missy using her telepathy and the sweeping glorious over-the-top-ness that characterises a lot of the show. I also love Clara and River, so if you got for plotty fic, feel free to involve them as well.
Missy/Thirteen: Gods their entire ... chase you across the universe and all of time because I don't know how to live without you thing is SO MUCH, they're obsessed, I'm obsessed, Michelle and Jodie are both ridiculously hot. Let them continue to have their version of forever, please. I like weird time shenanigans and love in war and reckoning with your former selves and telepathic/honour bondage.
General: I like missionfic/casefic, especially for all the angst it gives post-Fall fic/preemptive angst it gives pre-Fall fics (I am entirely up to date on the canon), but they're not a requirement. For Amélie ships, I have no preference if fic is set when she's Amélie or Widowmaker or both, and I also don't have a preference for never-married-to-Gerard!AUs vs pining/infidelity/open marriage so - whatever works for your fic! If Mercy's relevant to your fic, I am happy to see dark!Mercy as well as Overwatch!Mercy. Leaning into the body horror aspects around Ana's missing eye encouraged (I have a special love for flowers growing in the empty eye socket, because, well, I'm me) but not required. Any AU based off any skins for the requested characters (e.g. witch!Mercy, pirate!Ana, comtesse!Amélie) is welcome even if I haven't specified the general version of that AU in my likes. If you want to address the age gaps here, I really love how comfortable Ana is in her own skin, with her own age (even/especially her missing eye) and how that contrasts with her mixed feelings about what she's done, so anything that highlights that would be lovely.
Ashe/Sombra: There is a criminally tiny number of Ashe fics about the creepysexy things in the desert, and I would love for something horror with her and Sombra that works towards fixing that, especially with Sombra's demon hunter skin. Canonverse vampire AUs, or something out of Mexican/Southwestern folklore. Ashe feels like she could be Sombra's best friend/worst enemy depending on the day and I'd love to see either of those situations.
Ana/Amélie:Not quite colleague-friend-lovers who can't quite kill each other, the best of the best who keep chasing after each other because there shouldn't be two of them but there are and an undeniable part of them loves it, aka the reason I fell into this game and this canon in the first place. I love the angst of their situationally-enforced separation and how they're women who draw lines between killing and leaving to die but can't quite examine the difference because that comes to close to their feelings. The problem of 'I should kill you but I can't hurt you because you have already hurt too much because of me' gives me life and I would love to see how marriage (or undercover as married) affects that. I love post-Fall fics - the angst, the guilt, the Shrike, the chase, the meeting across new post-Recall battlefields, marrying to keep each other close because Gerard's gone along with Ana's eye and Amélie's feelings - but lighter pre-Fall missionfic is also great!
Ana/Brigitte: I'd love something where Brigitte is Ana's squire/protege instead of Reinhardt's, and Ana's possessive side gets to come out. But also, Brigitte has so many conflicted feelings about Overwatch and what the organisation did to her father and Ana's ... pretty much synonymous with Overwatch in a lot of ways, so I'd love to see them trying to work that out. Or something set a little into the future, where they get to build a post-war life together. Messy loyalty, missionfic, vampire AUs, things incorporating Egyptian and/or Swedish mythology - anything, everything.
Ana/Ashe: Vigilante protector meets bored criminal gang leader and ... I feel like at least one (1) literal explosion occurs in addition to excellent sex. I would love undercover-as-a-couple fic for them, or Ana infiltrating the Deadlock Game for Reasons (those Reasons are probably 'Gabe wouldn't do it and I have nothing else to do with my time'). Anonymouse/semi-anonymous sex - everyone knows who Captain Ana Amari is, but Ana has no idea who Ashe is until it's far too late to back out. AU Ashe follows McCree to Overwatch and her relationship with Ana develops from there. Ashe's kill-witness line is 'you should join my crew' - in what scenario (post-Fall?) might she tell Ana that? What does their life together look like if Ana accepts?
Ana/Hana: Oh, this pairing could be just about anything - there is a strong possibility for shenanigans given their 'youth is wasted on the young' / 'come on Ana, I bet you did all sorts of crazy stuff when you were my age' exchange. Or you could do the exact opposite and lean into the angst of Ana watching her lover having to fight another war because of Overwatch's old failures. Or just give these two tired soldiers time to relax and enjoy each other. Or something completely else! There's the potential for so much emotional mentor/protege stuff here, and I want all of it.
Ana/Mercy: Rez is already lovingly bonkers video-game logic, so don't feel bound to come up with something super scientifically accurate about why resurrection requires marriage - I will love any level of worldbuilding. Ana has a complicated relationship with death and Mercy has weird messy feelings about being devoted to Ana but also having the power to kill and bring her back, so I am super into edgeplay-to-the-edge-of-death with them - maybe it goes too far and there's resurrection marriage and guilt marriage? Entirely magical witch!Mercy AUs are also great for the ritual tags (I lived in that skin before All-Stars this year don't @ me it's perfect). But I also love softer h/c fics, and the just sort of - weary bonding that comes from having seen So Much Shit on the frontlines, realising the depth of their feelings during a mission and just being - hey, why don't we get married? Bastet AU where Ana and Jack do go see Mercy, or one where Ana and Mercy started a relationship while Ana was the Shrike (up to you whether Mercy knew Ana's identity, in that case!).
Ana/Moira: Oh gods, they're so full of complicated angst, and so philosophically opposed to one another, but they fought sorta-together and that matters post-Fall (and imagine the extra angst when Ana's Overwatch colleagues find out who she shared the secret of her survival with!). I'd love to see stories of their time together pre-Fall too, though - trying to find common ground, knowing what's in between them, sleeping together anyway. If you want to go for porn - Ana's sleep darts getting put to creative sex-based use, sex as a way to try to bring the other around to one's side, post-fall but pre-recall 'anonymous' sex but only one knows the other's true identity. Battle adrenaline leading to sex (whether they're on the same/opposite sides). Ana's guilt over their secret relationship juxtaposed with Moira's total lack of care. Someone (preferably Amélie but I'm not picky as long as it's another female character) catches them. Moira comes back to Overwatch (or Ana somehow ends up with Talon) and they pledge their allegiance not to the organisation but to the other woman specifically. The Moira standing next to me in a spawn room once replied to Ana's idle 'if we stick together we will achieve the objective' with 'well THAT's an interesting hypothesis' and I would love to see something built around that exchange. Experiements with Moira's lifedrain/heal - Moira's callout when using life drain is 'tell me how this feels' and Ana has a Complicated(tm) relationship with death, and I want all the fucked-up ways in which they deal with (or, yknow, don't deal) with that.
Ana/Sombra: Sombra's not loyal to Talon for reasons beyond self-preservation, and I'd love to see Ana trying to exploit that somehow. 5+1 times they didn't mean to end up in bed together? Trying to seduce the other away from their respective organisations?
Sombra/Amélie: I love the idea of Sombra being Amélie's connection to the world outside Talon - not necessarily a friend, but someone who sees beyond Talon's reach, someone who
Sombra/Hana: Women who were forced to grow up far too fast with excellent tech/mechanic skills, yes please! I don't really have specific prompts for them, write what you like!
General: I have a mild preference for 'only Jyn and Cassian survived Scarif' AUs over 'everybody lived', but if you'd prefer the latter, go for it. I love it when Leia grows up in Padmé lives AUs whether they're Rebellion founder!Padmé ones or Sith Lady Padmé ones. Sith!Leia AUs that are also Jedi!Luke ones are good, as are Sith twins ones.
Jyn/Leia: Rebellion babes! they have such different reasons for being there, which of course makes me want missionfic - how do they deal with each others' wildly different tactics in the field? Or good old-fashioned sparring-leads-to-sex character smut. Or maybe Jyn survives and is Leia's (secret?) ally in the New Republic government, or maybe Leia tries to recruit her for the Resistance. Jyn finds out that the truth about Leia's father is going to be leaked (either how it happened in Bloodline or in an entirely different way), and takes it on herself to prevent that (by offering to marry her, With Conditions). Anything with these two butting heads but ultimately being (reluctantly) caring/protective of each other will be loved, but also .... feel free to embrace the potential for angst and the viciousness. Leia has it out for Jyn because her father was responsible for Alderaan's destruction. Jyn flips it around after the Vader reveal and punishes her. Dealing with the trauma of being connected to such loss - there's something about wounds in the Force there that I'd love to see explored. Imperial!Jyn marries Leia to try to subdue Alderaan, and feelings happen (or don't). Sith!Leia captures Jyn and convinces her marriage is a better choice than death. Sith!Leia/Imperial!Jyn as dark queens of Alderaan.
Jyn/Mon: Rebellion leaders and the girls they dress up to die is one of my absolute favourite dynamics, and I love how much Jyn pushes back against it and how studiously un-conflicted Mon has to present. I would love a reckoning after Jyn comes back from Scarif, one that never quite resolves over the years. How do they find breaking points in each other? What does it do to you, to know so intimately when and how someone will bend, especially when you're not even sure you like them? How does Jyn become, willingly or not, a part of Mon's new Republic, or how does she convince herself to leave?
General: This book was so good to me, you guys. Underwater criminal cities! First Order lore! Politicking! Leia being tired and bitter and just wanting to go on An Adventure! Mercenary factions! Space fights! Bloodline was great for showing the wider bits of the GFFA, and I love all the potential for worldbuilding it opened up, especially Varish and the Lonerans.
Amilyn/Leia/Carise: Carise makes everything gloriously fucked up and I want alll the politics tbh. Maybe she tries to get to Leia by seducing Amilyn? Something, anything, with pretending to be a couple/undercover shenanigans. Costume parties, masquerades, FORCE-CHOKING, two of them conspiring to wreck the other. Sex in the Senate buildings (one interrupting the other two, or all three together). Sith AU where Leia and Amilyn are part of Carise's new First Order.
Leia Organa/Arliz Hadrassian: I'm really curious about what would have happened if Leia, rather than Casterfo, met Hadrassian and her warriors. Or an AU where Hadrassian survives and Leia hunts her down. Hatesex and fights and the thrill of danger.
Leia Organa/Carise Sindian: This is basically every single one of my hero/villain likes, tbh, right down to Carise not being able to hurt Leia directly even though she thinks she must. I'd love alllllll the fierce angsty manipulative hatesex. Leia punishing Carise, dirty talk involving the titles she doesn't have anymore, force-choking her? Carise brings out Leia's dark side in a beautifully raw way and I would read several novels worth of them fucking (with) each other. General politicking and manipulation is also excellent if you don't want to go the PWP route. I'm mostly envisioning things set post-novel for them, whether they keep running into each other for years after Leia leaves the Senate (epistolary fic covering those years would be super neat) or they have a one-off encounter in a seedy cantina somewhere. But if you have missing scenes you want to write, or semi-anonymous pre-canon sexual encounters, absolutely go for it!
Carise Sindian/Arliz Hadrassian: When did they meet face-to-face, if ever? Sparring leads to sex ifc is always good, especially for someone with Carise's particular blend of fascination-repulsion with-from violence. What sort of trappings of Empire did they wear for each other? How was Arliz tasked with proving devotion? AU where Arliz survives and tries to get back in Carise's good graces, while Carise - already done with her - still gives her just enough to keep coming back. AU where they're both in the First Order together.
General: Any era, any alignment of the requested characters is fine. In canon-divergent AUs, I like smuggler!Qi'ra, Sith!Leia, and Rey as an eldritch creature/harbinger of death. If you're writing something post-TLJ, I DNW mention of Amilyn's death - have her be alive or just don't bring her up at all. Qi'ra/Leia: I love any and all glimpses into the world where the no-good smuggler Leia falls for is Qi'ra instead of Han - whether that's a direct roleswap that puts Qi'Ra in Han's place for all of the OT or Qi'Ra and the Crimson Dawn are still more Empire-aligned even though Leia and the Rebellion work with them. How does their relationship change in a Sith!Leia AU - does Qi'Ra end up in the strange position of having a moral high ground trying to drag Leia out of a darker life, or does she fall, delighted, with Leia? I feel like there's some interesting potential with a Padme lived/Leia is somehow Queen of Naboo AU - given the galaxy-spanning consequences of the Trade Federation blockading Naboo, what's Queen Leia's relationship like with smugglers? Or just do a total 1940s LA noir AU! Give Leia a fun morally dubious girlfriend, is the point.
Qi'ra/Rey: The could be a dream smuggling team - Qi'Ra picking Rey up from Jakku at some/any point - or something darker in an empire!Rey AU (I like 'Rae Sloane takes Rey from Jakku and raises her to be a Grand Admiral' AUs for Imperial!Rey, but if you have other thoughts, go for them!). Qi'ra finding a nearly-inhuman Rey who never met Jyn, some adventure where Rey's been Qi'ra's lieutenant for ages, Rey falling for the glamorous smuggler who may or may not be helping the Resistance. Shenanigans, finding belonging in crime, fun or angsty porn - take this where you like!
Qi'ra/Jyn: Jyn ending up in Crimson Dawn hands and slowly coming to trust (or never coming to trust!) Qi'ra, adventures with smuggler!Qi'ra, especially if she keeps finding Jyn in more and more ridiculous predicaments. In worlds where Jyn survives Scarif and stays with the Rebellion, how and when does she run into Qi'ra (Rebellion leadership orders? Accident?). Undercover as a couple shenanigans, especially if Jyn hates it and Qi'ra is just thrilled she can dress her up. Canonverse, their brands of cynicism are so different, and I cannot resist the thought of smashing them together (and making them fuck).
Jyn/Rey: Lovely, lonely, angry desert babes - I feel like they'd have so much to bond over, and I'd love to see older survivor!Jyn with Rey, and how they slowly learn to trust & love each other. I like this with eldritch!Rey or Jedi!Rey and anything in between. Jyn come-back-wrong after Scarif is especially interesting in the former situation (accidental kyber crystal necromancy?) and Resistance!Jyn is especially great for the latter (Leia and/or the Force nudging them together).
General: I play a female cyborg Sith Inquisitor named Nevrasa in SWTOR. You can read more about her here if you want to write about her specifically, or you can use a generic inquisitor/your own/etc, I'm not picky and love meeting other peoples' PCs (and Nevrasa suffers a bit from 'first OC in this fandom' syndrome and isn't that fleshed out of a character). For this specific request, force ghosts do not count as dead for DNW purposes.
Female Sith Inquisitor/Darth Zash: I picked this class because of the Force magic and ended up buried under a pile of women-and-embodiment feelings. As I do. Everything from how Zash had to sacrifice her life essence to the Force in order to maintain her life for an eternity, to what it meant for a (cyborg) inquisitor to hear people talking about how and why she has to kill the (cyborg) Skotia. Add in the expectations of the master/apprentice dynamic and I am on the floor with feelings. I'm good with this being set at any time period, with feelings being requited or unrequited - I definitely see this as an accidental/political marriage, or one to keep an assumed/actual enemy close rather than a true love thing, but there's a very real-if-warped sort of affection there that I love to see explored. Basically, tell me about loyalty, and age, and magic, Sith betrayals and Sith passions and murder-as-love and all the altars they've had ritual sex on. Creepy marriagefic is also excellent - political marriages, plotting-to-kill-each-other marriages, accidental marriage because of Sith blood magic reasons - basically, any of the freeforms from my justmarried letter are fair game!

General: Please refer to Lilith as Lilith (rather than Madam Satan) for fic from her POV/from the POV of people who know she's no longer Mary Wardwell. I like worldbuiling and pre-canon stories, especially stories about Lilith slowly siphoning witches away from Satan, stories where Sabrina (or Zelda, or the Weird Sisters) sign their name over to Lilith directly rather than into the Book of the Beast, and stories about centuries of history and the distinctly inhuman perceptions and desires of witches and demons. There's so many levels of glorious fucked-up obsessive mentorship here along with, you know, the gore and the deification-via-cannibalism and I love all of them. Murder + in-fic resurrection/came back wrong is fine for any of these prompts.
Agatha/Sabrina: The murder made me ship it, I have simple story loves and 'I am going to kill and resurrect you
Lilith/Prudence: Prudence deserves a better authority figure than Faustus, and she and Lilith both know it. Anything about Lilith seducing Prudence away from the Church of Night/Academy, showing her true power, or anything about Queen of Hell!Lilith with Prudence as her priestess, or anything post-s2. Prudence has such a steady, sincere sort of faith, and while I think she definitely has that faith in Lilith as well, it would be interesting to see how it collides with Lilith's rather more chaotic plans.
Lilith/Sabrina: I am 100% convinced that Sabrina's crush on the original Mary Wardwell was a factor in Lilith's choice of person to possess. She wants Sabrina, and she wants Sabrina to be her, and Sabrina is? Entirely okay with that? The implication of 'Lilith takes over the Dark Lord's place and Sabrina takes over Lilith's' is really obviously going to a consort-to-the-queen-of-hell!Sabrina place? Lilith stares at Sabrina like she's the most fascinating thing she's ever seen? Sabrina thinks Lilith is the only person in the world who understands her? Lilith red-string-of-fate kited Sabrina through mortal purgatory? The soundtrack underlines their scenes with phrases like If I had a heart I would love you? This picture exists? This ship is tailor-made for me IN CANON and I don't know what to do with myself about it! S1 was super heavy-handed with the 'turning sixteen is basically equivalent to marrying Satan' imagery, so basically - that, but with Lilith instead! Possession rituals, blood magic, the literal entire forest dressing Sabrina up to meet her queen-of-Hell bride.
Lilith/Zelda: Oh man this ship is such a glorious mess of feelings about embodiment and apotheosis and pride and praise and I am dead, and cordially invite you to be dead with me! Zelda's whole … wanting to fuck not even necessarily her gods but like the entire concept of divinity is so MUCH, and Lilith is absolutely amused by it. I love fics that get into how wildly other Lilith is as a demon queen, how her perceptions of desire and bodies would differ. Praise kink, competency kink - Zelda has a hard time admitting even to herself how desperate she is to prove herself, and I totally see Lilith granting or witholding praise just to see what she can make Zelda do, what she can make Zelda admit she wants. I have some preference for fics set after Zelda knows Lilith's true identity, but I also love stories about the reveal (less into 'hm I want to fuck my niece's hot teacher for some reason' stories). Lilith marrying Zelda to get her away from Faustus, Zelda and Lilith marrying in order for Zelda's status as her prophet to be legitimised. Feel free to use any of the songs from this fanmix as prompts.
Prudence/Sabrina: That queen-and-handmaiden dynamic at the Feast of Feasts is my dream, and I would die for more of it. I love stories about Prudence showing Sabrina the weird bits of the witch world that she didn't see/hear of growing up, and I love the capacity they have to magnify each other's cruelties despite or because of their best wishes.
General: I only vaguely keep up with the audio dramas, but feel free to incorporate however much of that canon as you want. Post-Mondas fix-its for Missy that don't involve her regenerating are loved, but pre-Mondas fic is equally great. I like Missy using her telepathy and the sweeping glorious over-the-top-ness that characterises a lot of the show. I also love Clara and River, so if you got for plotty fic, feel free to involve them as well.
Missy/Thirteen: Gods their entire ... chase you across the universe and all of time because I don't know how to live without you thing is SO MUCH, they're obsessed, I'm obsessed, Michelle and Jodie are both ridiculously hot. Let them continue to have their version of forever, please. I like weird time shenanigans and love in war and reckoning with your former selves and telepathic/honour bondage.
General: I like missionfic/casefic, especially for all the angst it gives post-Fall fic/preemptive angst it gives pre-Fall fics (I am entirely up to date on the canon), but they're not a requirement. For Amélie ships, I have no preference if fic is set when she's Amélie or Widowmaker or both, and I also don't have a preference for never-married-to-Gerard!AUs vs pining/infidelity/open marriage so - whatever works for your fic! If Mercy's relevant to your fic, I am happy to see dark!Mercy as well as Overwatch!Mercy. Leaning into the body horror aspects around Ana's missing eye encouraged (I have a special love for flowers growing in the empty eye socket, because, well, I'm me) but not required. Any AU based off any skins for the requested characters (e.g. witch!Mercy, pirate!Ana, comtesse!Amélie) is welcome even if I haven't specified the general version of that AU in my likes. If you want to address the age gaps here, I really love how comfortable Ana is in her own skin, with her own age (even/especially her missing eye) and how that contrasts with her mixed feelings about what she's done, so anything that highlights that would be lovely.
Ashe/Sombra: There is a criminally tiny number of Ashe fics about the creepysexy things in the desert, and I would love for something horror with her and Sombra that works towards fixing that, especially with Sombra's demon hunter skin. Canonverse vampire AUs, or something out of Mexican/Southwestern folklore. Ashe feels like she could be Sombra's best friend/worst enemy depending on the day and I'd love to see either of those situations.
Ana/Amélie:Not quite colleague-friend-lovers who can't quite kill each other, the best of the best who keep chasing after each other because there shouldn't be two of them but there are and an undeniable part of them loves it, aka the reason I fell into this game and this canon in the first place. I love the angst of their situationally-enforced separation and how they're women who draw lines between killing and leaving to die but can't quite examine the difference because that comes to close to their feelings. The problem of 'I should kill you but I can't hurt you because you have already hurt too much because of me' gives me life and I would love to see how marriage (or undercover as married) affects that. I love post-Fall fics - the angst, the guilt, the Shrike, the chase, the meeting across new post-Recall battlefields, marrying to keep each other close because Gerard's gone along with Ana's eye and Amélie's feelings - but lighter pre-Fall missionfic is also great!
Ana/Brigitte: I'd love something where Brigitte is Ana's squire/protege instead of Reinhardt's, and Ana's possessive side gets to come out. But also, Brigitte has so many conflicted feelings about Overwatch and what the organisation did to her father and Ana's ... pretty much synonymous with Overwatch in a lot of ways, so I'd love to see them trying to work that out. Or something set a little into the future, where they get to build a post-war life together. Messy loyalty, missionfic, vampire AUs, things incorporating Egyptian and/or Swedish mythology - anything, everything.
Ana/Ashe: Vigilante protector meets bored criminal gang leader and ... I feel like at least one (1) literal explosion occurs in addition to excellent sex. I would love undercover-as-a-couple fic for them, or Ana infiltrating the Deadlock Game for Reasons (those Reasons are probably 'Gabe wouldn't do it and I have nothing else to do with my time'). Anonymouse/semi-anonymous sex - everyone knows who Captain Ana Amari is, but Ana has no idea who Ashe is until it's far too late to back out. AU Ashe follows McCree to Overwatch and her relationship with Ana develops from there. Ashe's kill-witness line is 'you should join my crew' - in what scenario (post-Fall?) might she tell Ana that? What does their life together look like if Ana accepts?
Ana/Hana: Oh, this pairing could be just about anything - there is a strong possibility for shenanigans given their 'youth is wasted on the young' / 'come on Ana, I bet you did all sorts of crazy stuff when you were my age' exchange. Or you could do the exact opposite and lean into the angst of Ana watching her lover having to fight another war because of Overwatch's old failures. Or just give these two tired soldiers time to relax and enjoy each other. Or something completely else! There's the potential for so much emotional mentor/protege stuff here, and I want all of it.
Ana/Mercy: Rez is already lovingly bonkers video-game logic, so don't feel bound to come up with something super scientifically accurate about why resurrection requires marriage - I will love any level of worldbuilding. Ana has a complicated relationship with death and Mercy has weird messy feelings about being devoted to Ana but also having the power to kill and bring her back, so I am super into edgeplay-to-the-edge-of-death with them - maybe it goes too far and there's resurrection marriage and guilt marriage? Entirely magical witch!Mercy AUs are also great for the ritual tags (I lived in that skin before All-Stars this year don't @ me it's perfect). But I also love softer h/c fics, and the just sort of - weary bonding that comes from having seen So Much Shit on the frontlines, realising the depth of their feelings during a mission and just being - hey, why don't we get married? Bastet AU where Ana and Jack do go see Mercy, or one where Ana and Mercy started a relationship while Ana was the Shrike (up to you whether Mercy knew Ana's identity, in that case!).
Ana/Moira: Oh gods, they're so full of complicated angst, and so philosophically opposed to one another, but they fought sorta-together and that matters post-Fall (and imagine the extra angst when Ana's Overwatch colleagues find out who she shared the secret of her survival with!). I'd love to see stories of their time together pre-Fall too, though - trying to find common ground, knowing what's in between them, sleeping together anyway. If you want to go for porn - Ana's sleep darts getting put to creative sex-based use, sex as a way to try to bring the other around to one's side, post-fall but pre-recall 'anonymous' sex but only one knows the other's true identity. Battle adrenaline leading to sex (whether they're on the same/opposite sides). Ana's guilt over their secret relationship juxtaposed with Moira's total lack of care. Someone (preferably Amélie but I'm not picky as long as it's another female character) catches them. Moira comes back to Overwatch (or Ana somehow ends up with Talon) and they pledge their allegiance not to the organisation but to the other woman specifically. The Moira standing next to me in a spawn room once replied to Ana's idle 'if we stick together we will achieve the objective' with 'well THAT's an interesting hypothesis' and I would love to see something built around that exchange. Experiements with Moira's lifedrain/heal - Moira's callout when using life drain is 'tell me how this feels' and Ana has a Complicated(tm) relationship with death, and I want all the fucked-up ways in which they deal with (or, yknow, don't deal) with that.
Ana/Sombra: Sombra's not loyal to Talon for reasons beyond self-preservation, and I'd love to see Ana trying to exploit that somehow. 5+1 times they didn't mean to end up in bed together? Trying to seduce the other away from their respective organisations?
Sombra/Amélie: I love the idea of Sombra being Amélie's connection to the world outside Talon - not necessarily a friend, but someone who sees beyond Talon's reach, someone who
Sombra/Hana: Women who were forced to grow up far too fast with excellent tech/mechanic skills, yes please! I don't really have specific prompts for them, write what you like!
General: I have a mild preference for 'only Jyn and Cassian survived Scarif' AUs over 'everybody lived', but if you'd prefer the latter, go for it. I love it when Leia grows up in Padmé lives AUs whether they're Rebellion founder!Padmé ones or Sith Lady Padmé ones. Sith!Leia AUs that are also Jedi!Luke ones are good, as are Sith twins ones.
Jyn/Leia: Rebellion babes! they have such different reasons for being there, which of course makes me want missionfic - how do they deal with each others' wildly different tactics in the field? Or good old-fashioned sparring-leads-to-sex character smut. Or maybe Jyn survives and is Leia's (secret?) ally in the New Republic government, or maybe Leia tries to recruit her for the Resistance. Jyn finds out that the truth about Leia's father is going to be leaked (either how it happened in Bloodline or in an entirely different way), and takes it on herself to prevent that (by offering to marry her, With Conditions). Anything with these two butting heads but ultimately being (reluctantly) caring/protective of each other will be loved, but also .... feel free to embrace the potential for angst and the viciousness. Leia has it out for Jyn because her father was responsible for Alderaan's destruction. Jyn flips it around after the Vader reveal and punishes her. Dealing with the trauma of being connected to such loss - there's something about wounds in the Force there that I'd love to see explored. Imperial!Jyn marries Leia to try to subdue Alderaan, and feelings happen (or don't). Sith!Leia captures Jyn and convinces her marriage is a better choice than death. Sith!Leia/Imperial!Jyn as dark queens of Alderaan.
Jyn/Mon: Rebellion leaders and the girls they dress up to die is one of my absolute favourite dynamics, and I love how much Jyn pushes back against it and how studiously un-conflicted Mon has to present. I would love a reckoning after Jyn comes back from Scarif, one that never quite resolves over the years. How do they find breaking points in each other? What does it do to you, to know so intimately when and how someone will bend, especially when you're not even sure you like them? How does Jyn become, willingly or not, a part of Mon's new Republic, or how does she convince herself to leave?
Star Wars: Bloodline - Claudia Grey
General: This book was so good to me, you guys. Underwater criminal cities! First Order lore! Politicking! Leia being tired and bitter and just wanting to go on An Adventure! Mercenary factions! Space fights! Bloodline was great for showing the wider bits of the GFFA, and I love all the potential for worldbuilding it opened up, especially Varish and the Lonerans.
Amilyn/Leia/Carise: Carise makes everything gloriously fucked up and I want alll the politics tbh. Maybe she tries to get to Leia by seducing Amilyn? Something, anything, with pretending to be a couple/undercover shenanigans. Costume parties, masquerades, FORCE-CHOKING, two of them conspiring to wreck the other. Sex in the Senate buildings (one interrupting the other two, or all three together). Sith AU where Leia and Amilyn are part of Carise's new First Order.
Leia Organa/Arliz Hadrassian: I'm really curious about what would have happened if Leia, rather than Casterfo, met Hadrassian and her warriors. Or an AU where Hadrassian survives and Leia hunts her down. Hatesex and fights and the thrill of danger.
Leia Organa/Carise Sindian: This is basically every single one of my hero/villain likes, tbh, right down to Carise not being able to hurt Leia directly even though she thinks she must. I'd love alllllll the fierce angsty manipulative hatesex. Leia punishing Carise, dirty talk involving the titles she doesn't have anymore, force-choking her? Carise brings out Leia's dark side in a beautifully raw way and I would read several novels worth of them fucking (with) each other. General politicking and manipulation is also excellent if you don't want to go the PWP route. I'm mostly envisioning things set post-novel for them, whether they keep running into each other for years after Leia leaves the Senate (epistolary fic covering those years would be super neat) or they have a one-off encounter in a seedy cantina somewhere. But if you have missing scenes you want to write, or semi-anonymous pre-canon sexual encounters, absolutely go for it!
Carise Sindian/Arliz Hadrassian: When did they meet face-to-face, if ever? Sparring leads to sex ifc is always good, especially for someone with Carise's particular blend of fascination-repulsion with-from violence. What sort of trappings of Empire did they wear for each other? How was Arliz tasked with proving devotion? AU where Arliz survives and tries to get back in Carise's good graces, while Carise - already done with her - still gives her just enough to keep coming back. AU where they're both in the First Order together.
General: Any era, any alignment of the requested characters is fine. In canon-divergent AUs, I like smuggler!Qi'ra, Sith!Leia, and Rey as an eldritch creature/harbinger of death. If you're writing something post-TLJ, I DNW mention of Amilyn's death - have her be alive or just don't bring her up at all. Qi'ra/Leia: I love any and all glimpses into the world where the no-good smuggler Leia falls for is Qi'ra instead of Han - whether that's a direct roleswap that puts Qi'Ra in Han's place for all of the OT or Qi'Ra and the Crimson Dawn are still more Empire-aligned even though Leia and the Rebellion work with them. How does their relationship change in a Sith!Leia AU - does Qi'Ra end up in the strange position of having a moral high ground trying to drag Leia out of a darker life, or does she fall, delighted, with Leia? I feel like there's some interesting potential with a Padme lived/Leia is somehow Queen of Naboo AU - given the galaxy-spanning consequences of the Trade Federation blockading Naboo, what's Queen Leia's relationship like with smugglers? Or just do a total 1940s LA noir AU! Give Leia a fun morally dubious girlfriend, is the point.
Qi'ra/Rey: The could be a dream smuggling team - Qi'Ra picking Rey up from Jakku at some/any point - or something darker in an empire!Rey AU (I like 'Rae Sloane takes Rey from Jakku and raises her to be a Grand Admiral' AUs for Imperial!Rey, but if you have other thoughts, go for them!). Qi'ra finding a nearly-inhuman Rey who never met Jyn, some adventure where Rey's been Qi'ra's lieutenant for ages, Rey falling for the glamorous smuggler who may or may not be helping the Resistance. Shenanigans, finding belonging in crime, fun or angsty porn - take this where you like!
Qi'ra/Jyn: Jyn ending up in Crimson Dawn hands and slowly coming to trust (or never coming to trust!) Qi'ra, adventures with smuggler!Qi'ra, especially if she keeps finding Jyn in more and more ridiculous predicaments. In worlds where Jyn survives Scarif and stays with the Rebellion, how and when does she run into Qi'ra (Rebellion leadership orders? Accident?). Undercover as a couple shenanigans, especially if Jyn hates it and Qi'ra is just thrilled she can dress her up. Canonverse, their brands of cynicism are so different, and I cannot resist the thought of smashing them together (and making them fuck).
Jyn/Rey: Lovely, lonely, angry desert babes - I feel like they'd have so much to bond over, and I'd love to see older survivor!Jyn with Rey, and how they slowly learn to trust & love each other. I like this with eldritch!Rey or Jedi!Rey and anything in between. Jyn come-back-wrong after Scarif is especially interesting in the former situation (accidental kyber crystal necromancy?) and Resistance!Jyn is especially great for the latter (Leia and/or the Force nudging them together).
General: I play a female cyborg Sith Inquisitor named Nevrasa in SWTOR. You can read more about her here if you want to write about her specifically, or you can use a generic inquisitor/your own/etc, I'm not picky and love meeting other peoples' PCs (and Nevrasa suffers a bit from 'first OC in this fandom' syndrome and isn't that fleshed out of a character). For this specific request, force ghosts do not count as dead for DNW purposes.
Female Sith Inquisitor/Darth Zash: I picked this class because of the Force magic and ended up buried under a pile of women-and-embodiment feelings. As I do. Everything from how Zash had to sacrifice her life essence to the Force in order to maintain her life for an eternity, to what it meant for a (cyborg) inquisitor to hear people talking about how and why she has to kill the (cyborg) Skotia. Add in the expectations of the master/apprentice dynamic and I am on the floor with feelings. I'm good with this being set at any time period, with feelings being requited or unrequited - I definitely see this as an accidental/political marriage, or one to keep an assumed/actual enemy close rather than a true love thing, but there's a very real-if-warped sort of affection there that I love to see explored. Basically, tell me about loyalty, and age, and magic, Sith betrayals and Sith passions and murder-as-love and all the altars they've had ritual sex on. Creepy marriagefic is also excellent - political marriages, plotting-to-kill-each-other marriages, accidental marriage because of Sith blood magic reasons - basically, any of the freeforms from my justmarried letter are fair game!
