ALSO I got an absolutely INCREDIBLE Southern Reach fic from tristesses, Abnormality, which explores what might have happened to the Surveyor when she was left alone during Annihilation and it is SO GOOD and the BEST sort of horror and I love it so muchhhhhhhhhh.
