If you had told me four months ago I would be writing for an all-Star-Wars exchange I would have absolutely not believed you but, uh, special interests gonna special interest, so here are the fics I wrote for maythe4thbewithyou and some recs.

I stressed a lot over this one, because I didn't have the chance to see as much of TCW as I would have liked, so this is Ahsoka based solely off of Rebels. But I had great prompts, and a recip whose view of them and their relationship matched wonderfully with mine, and I'm really happy with how it turned out.

I'm sure there will eventually come a time when skyfaring as as symbol of confession/revelation/recovery will be overused in this fandom (...I'm really not, and I won't stop writing it even if that time comes) but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to treat a letter with both such lovely thoughts on characters at the precise moment of almost-death and an explicit request for a fix-it.

I am very, very picky about post-TLJ fics so this is almost certainly not a comprehensive list of everything good in the collection, but: some recs.

My gift! My beautiful delightful high-stakes-mission spaceship-stealing first-meeting fic! I nominated the ot3 on a whim and fully expected to not match on it, but I guess I did and it's perfect?? Jyn and Amilyn team up to rescue Leia from the Death Star. In a stolen weaponless Gatalentan diplomatic ship. There are not words for how much I love this.

Rose always figured she'd go out like Paige—blown into atoms on a ship under fire—not at the hands of a crazed Dark Side user. But as it turns out, Kylo Ren might not be trying to kill her.

Kylo 'I shot down your ship so you could help me save my mother' Ren is forced to work with one of the most perfectly-written Roses I have ever read. That's the fic, and it's exactly as excellent as it sounds.

While abandoned on a planet with Leia Organa, Phasma finds herself confronted with a horrible truth.

Slightly dark very tired Leia who's chosen exile meets very dark slightly tired Phasma who has decidedly not chosen exile all combined in a beautiful mix of tension and possibility.

It's so beautiful and wistful in a sense, since I got to see such a wonderful possibility for what might have went down if these two had lived. It's such an interesting, unexpected friendship with so many cool possibilities! (I also loved the title; the lyrics fit the wistfulness and magic of the story so well and Eivor always does such gorgeously ethereal songs, so mood-wise it's a prefect fit).

Ahh thank you! I've ... more or less integrated it into my personal post-TLJ headcanon, tbh. I've been in denial since I walked out of the cinema last December, and things like the artbook(?) saying that the bombers were part of the Ninka's crew just make me want to write everything for them.

(I actually expected someone to guess me during the anon period from the Eivor title but no it was the Hera/Sabine that everyone immediately called me out for lol)
