I love these canons for the worldbuilding and mytharcs as well as their characters and relationships, and I am easy to please as long as you stay away from my DNWs, so don't feel like you Have to write any of my specific prompts. Don't read anything into relative lengths of sections, I am equally happy to get something for anything in this letter! Some of these prompts are reused from old letters, and if you have written them for me before, rest assured that I loved your fic, I am simply greedy and would like to see every possible take on my favourite scenarios. Though I've loads of specific dark- & smut-focussed likes, don't feel obliged to pull from those lists. That being said, I'm extremely not into plotless/conflictless fluff, and would prefer you avoid it.

I love everything from short introspection bits to long plotty missionfic to sex scenes as ways to explore character/setting/worldbuilding. I'm here for the horror and while I'm generally open to any f/f in the background or foreground of fics and have some shippy prompts, I'm not really expecting it here! Where it is prompted for, I don't need a lot of romance in my ships: sex for power, manipulation, on the weird platonic-romantic-maybe-I-just-want-to-be-you line, or between friends who want to have fun is great.

General: I want to say something intelligent about this show but I'm extremely 'no thought head Birgitte and Hanne and Katrine' about it, so feel free to combine these three in any way you wish - I'd be delighted by, say, Birgitte/Katrine & Hanne. I generally prefer fic set closer to 2013 than present-day in post-canon fic, and DNW the contemporary European political landscapes in futurefic — I'd like a Denmark that was kept more thoughtfully & compassionately to the left because of Birgitte's politics, a UK that didn't leave the EU, that sort of thing (this does not apply to American politics, keep those as is or go alt-history as you wish). I have not seen series 4 but I am broadly spoiled for it, so use it or not as you wish, I trust your judgement.

I would be totally happy with gen, but I ship Eva/Jeanette, Eva/Klara, Eva/Laila, Eva/Zara, Laila/Zara, Esme/Linus, and Esme/Maja, if you want to write something shippy. I headcanon Linus as nonbinary, but don't feel beholden to that if you involve him in fics. SVU has a really particular sort of mood, a cold comfort that's not quite bleak and not quite hopeful, and I'm really interested in the ways in which the women of the show negotiate their particular vocabularies of justice and care.

It wasn't even that bad, as far as their cases went, and that might have been the worst part. It rattles around in her head as she finishes up paperwork, not actually looking forward to going home despite the lack of other options. And maybe that's why, when Barek hesitates passing by her desk on her way out and says, "Drinks?" Alex doesn't actually pause to think that long before saying, "Sure."

Post-case drinks, coming out without saying the words, friends with benefits. You know, all the usual crime-drama-as-Katatonia-song vibes.

My gift was the incredible the edge of the world (Scott & Bailey, Rachel/Janet in the wonderful 'who needs a relationship definition when we've got each other and also Gill laughing at us' space) from thiswildernessismyhome - this is one of those fics that I feel deserves paragraphs of praise but all I ever manage to come up with is 'it's THEM and they're PERFECT', which, I suppose, is the best thing I could say about a fic.

And while I've not read everything in the collection I Have read & loved greet each overture (mostly-showverse The Wheel of Time, Liandrin/Moiraine) by kathryne / tellitslant who, per usual, has chosen to make the Wheel of Time problem that she caused me to have worse at every opportunity.

General: CtL is the tabletop game of my whole entire heart and I just want to live in that world a bit more! I have a slight preference for stories set in Arcadia or the Hedge, but absolutely will not say no to Earth-set ones. Sourcebook-wise, I am most familiar with Dancers in the Dusk, Winter Masques, and Night Horrors. I especially love oneiromancy and am super weak for stories that contrast the deep sense of place/setting with changelings' very tenuous sense of self. I'm always here for body horror, but for this canon especially - when in doubt, lovingly cut someone's eyes out and replace them with flowers and/or gems. Adhere as strictly or loosely to game mechanics as feels right for your story.
